If you want to think a good person can do an evil job and remain good, then you go right ahead, but if I see an evil system being supported by good men, I feel saddened. I would much prefer to think that this evil system is being supported because evil men are participating. It's still not a good story, but it's better than thinking that good men are perpetuating the evil in this world. If that's the case, then heaven help us because there is no good at that point.

Here's the truth, folks (take off your tin foil hats for a moment and TRY to think rationally- even if you haven't done so for a few years): most cops/soldiers/bureaucrats are NOT schutzstaffel thugs looking to kill you or destroy your life. They are regular folks who took a job with the largest employer in the nation for a wide variety of reasons.

This message really isn't for them. Most of them are so far gone, they can't even think rationally anymore. But maybe I can reach a few who haven't gone completely off the deep end yet.

Now, I could start off by questioning your sanity and grasp on the world.

But I'm not, rather, I'm going to ask a simple question:

What makes you think your average SS or Gestapo officer was not the exact same thing?

That they, for the most part, were decent family men, who loved their wives, played with their children and puttered in the garden on the weekend?

Because, you know, they were.

That did not change the fact that they were serving an evil system and enforcing it's edicts.

Is every cop out looking to destroy me, personally?

No, of course not, but that is not the point.

The point is, they can, and do so with increasing frequency and brutality and very seldom are held accountable for the harm they cause.

Nobody else you will interact with in the course of a day has that power combined with that unaccountability.

Now, please show me, in what I wrote, that is factually untrue, or a sign of mental illness.

Well, you have a right to not be polite to cops, you just have to keep in mind that this is considered to be 'passive resistance' and cops can and do have the right to use empty hand techniques (e.g., the 'slam head onto car' technique), when and where necessary to defend Himself from your passive resistance.

It should also be noted, that if you do not freely allow the Officer to employ such techniques, this raises your threat level to Active Resistance, Assaultive, or even a Deadly Threat, and you have only yourself to blame for what happens next.
