Isn't it possible to force a hand count?

Theoretically, isn't it possible to force a hand count in every state if someone(a brave hacker patriot?) would admit (LIE) that he/she hacked the voting system or tampered the results somehow?

If they can't disprove it, then they can't ignore it completely and they'll have to recount the votes by hand. I simplified it a little, but am I wrong?

A good person goes to jail, but saves the world. Well, one for each state actually. But probably after a few it won't be necessary anymore, it'll be like common sense. If I were in America and if I were an American I'd do it immediately...maybe.

Someone willing to sacrifice him/herself?

As I explained I can't do it, even if I could, I wouldn't have anyway.

But there must be people(true patriots?) who care so much about this stuff to literally sacrifice themselves. It's like having to kill someone to survive. There must be a good guy who'll accept to become a criminal to stop the bad criminals. In many holywood films, such characters are the most respected ones. And it isn't considered bullshit, which shows how the morality and ethics work.

It should probably be somebody who doesn't have a family and is over 40-50 already. I'm pretty sure, if Ron Paul were 35 years old instead of 72 -but still same person, same experiences, same family- he would't have stood up and fought for the rights of so many other people. Because you know; It wouldn't be even a conscpiracy to say that it's likely that he will be assasinated, if he becomes the president. So it's a lot of risk.

Practically the world needs someone, who won't have an alternative, satisfiying source for happiness, if they lose so much of their freedom because of the unfair elections. Or someone with strong beliefs about what's right and what's wrong. And they also should be in need of some pride, or at least not dislike it to be seen as a hero or something.

If you know somebody like that, just make him/her the offer. Who knows..?

And come on... it isn't unethical at all, it'll be obvious that the person is lying anyway, and also the reason for the lie. It just should be undisprovable. It is a very honorable thing to do... Seriously...

What I'm concerned about is if it will really work out as planned. It might backfire and they might try to make the whole thing even more "secure" and hidden. Although after a few logical arguments against such an action and a few riots and it should be ok... Am I wrong ?
