Is Gary Johnson actually part of the plan to make Ron Paul the nominee?

Well, the way I feel about it, is that we fought a good fight.... but the media, and the sheer amount of stupidity in this country were too much. I would rather vote for Gary Johnson, and at least get him in the debates than cling to a lost cause. Gary Johnson isn't my favourite guy... and he is not even close to being as good as Ron, but I dont think he is bad, and he sure would be a lot better than Mitt or Obama. Im pretty sad that Ron is retiring. I dont think there will be another like him.

Ron Paul is NEVER going to be the nominee and NEVER going to be President. I can't believe these delusions are still rampant on this forum.

EDIT-Plus/Neg Rep count for this thread: 11 plus reps/13 neg reps

Quit posting, asswit. Unless you are in possession of Doc Brown's special DeLorean, neither you nor I will know the outcome of the GOP nominating process until it's over.

And until then, as far as I'm concerned, this fight isn't over. This is not about a mere election, this is about the course of American history - the America we will bequeath to our sons and grandsons.

Unless you have something nice to say, shove a Georgia peach deep, deep down into your throat and GTFO.

With the lawsuit, The trouble Romney has been in, the fact that Gary Johnson will siphon off votes, The true Ron Paul supporters who will campaign against Romney, and many other factors I would think there is still a chance to pull an upset at the convention. I just don't understand how a Ron Paul supporter can give up so easily. I will not give up until it is officially over. And even then, I will actively campaign against romney because I want the GOP to learn a lesson. If Romney wins, then they can say they didnt need us.

That's exactly what I think. Romney is getting slaughtered on the tax return thing. Even alot of Republicans can't stand him. It ain't over until it's over. Alot of things can happen.

Meh. Was just a battle. The fight for liberty moves forward. It never really ends, you know. You win some and you lose some along the path. Remember to rise and rise again and all will be well. Besides. We're not through with the media. Not by a long shot. Heck, that little spat is only beginning at this stage of the game. Remember who you are and you win. Forget or be fooled and let someone else define you during that particular spat and you/we (still up for grabs on that one condidering the latter of your post) may lose.

I thought Mrs. Paul said to stop cussing on the internet. Jiminy crickets, people.

Agreed in scope on the latter though.

In my defense: the wit of an Ass is the thought process of any common Donkey or Mule. (It is a stretch, I know.) I posit that the mental constructs of the aforementioned barnyard dweller are of more value than the opinion of our mutual pal from Georgia.

Perhaps a bit of chastisement is in order for him - from beginning to end, there were Tories supporting King George during the Revolutionary War; I assure you, a mild profanity is far more preferable to the tar and feathers used by Patriots to accomplish the same in the 1770s.

:)

I'm no less guilty.

Romney has spent the last 6 years of his life running for president full time. To imply that he doesn't care if he wins...as if all his desires and emotions in life are completely controlled by some shadow figure, is really only a half notch away from calling him a reptillian. It's batshit insane.

Romney obviously wouldn't mind being president. But if you don't think there are games beyond his pay grade, you're the one who is 'batshit insane'.

These Gary Johnson posts are so phoned in. I mean, jeez, guys, at least stop using the form letter.
