Is Gary Johnson actually part of the plan to make Ron Paul the nominee?

Its unlikely that nearly 400 ROMNEY supporters are going to decide that they would prefer Ron Paul, and by extension their belief that it would assure Obama a victory. And that is not even counting the Gingrich and Santorum delegates that will vote for Romney on behalf of their former candidates, also numbering near 400 hundred. Injecting a little bit of common sense and mathematical realism into this forum, as well as Ron Paul's OWN belief that he will not be the nominee and President, should not be met with such hostility. Sorry if it appears that I am being rude to people, but they are acting like children.

then stay out of these discussions if you can't control yourself. The day after Rand's endorsement we might well have taken Texas if more delegates had shown up and do you really think NONE changed their mind because of that? We literally lost delegates for lack of a single vote on several occasions in that process, and our total was VERY close to half. To win the most we can win, we need enthusiasm.

I don't only weed this forum, I take bashing out of Rand's too, when it gets too consistent and I notice it. Don't undermine a campaign and call the thought of winning the campaign 'delusional' in the candidate's own forum.

I'm not trying to trample on anybody's views or hopes. I AM saying that a -rep for GeorgiaAvenger simply stating what Ron Paul and Rand Paul stated themselves is not right. Ron and Rand would probably get a billion -reps if they were on this site.

Wow... effects of our school system... Paul said he was suspending "actively campaigning" in states that had not held their primaries.... (don't believe me, skip on over to Yahoo politics and there are 3 pics in the forefront (Obama, Mittens, and you guessed it, Dr. Paul) Platform - Paul has said regardless if he gets the nomination or not, he hopes to affect the platform (but he said at the beginning too) ... Good Ol' Rand - Did you actually hear/read what Rand said? Rand's first words is that his dad is his first pick and then he went on to say he would support the nominee ... guess what, the convention has not happened yet, so therefore, the delegates have not voted so at this point, which can only mean --- wait for it, w-a-i-t f-o-r i-t --- there is no nominee as of today and will not be until the convention.

we all realize that this is important to you, but please, don't lose any sleep over it. I don't like it when Mitt supporters get worried over the prospect of Ron becoming the President, because it makes it un-safe walking around tall buildings.

With the lawsuit, The trouble Romney has been in, the fact that Gary Johnson will siphon off votes, The true Ron Paul supporters who will campaign against Romney, and many other factors I would think there is still a chance to pull an upset at the convention. I just don't understand how a Ron Paul supporter can give up so easily. I will not give up until it is officially over. And even then, I will actively campaign against romney because I want the GOP to learn a lesson. If Romney wins, then they can say they didnt need us.
 
If Ron Paul gets to speak at the convention to a room full of unbound delegates........ :)

We have been waiting for Ron to attack Mitt, this could be it!
 
Obama and Romney are sword fighting every day. Romney changes his position with every Obama's swaths. But he missteps and looks to the floor and Obama sends his sword right through his heart. Ron Paul being the gentleman he is will step in to prevent Romney from bleeding to death and intercepts Obama's sword in the in air. Paul takes Obama while Palin takes Biden and soon you have Obaiden sausage and everything for a much lower price than what was advertised last January. But if you want to film the scripted version you would need a union contract.

I don't think that "tarnished" is the right word. "Unknown" maybe? There are a lot of great brand names out there. Coke, Pepsi, and some microbrew soda. The microbrew soda doesn't have a "tarnished" brand name, it's just that nobody has heard of it and nobody drinks it. It's a fringe soda, and Libertarian is a fringe party. Of course, with soda, you don't have to win, with politics, you do.
