I am working on 120 typewritten letters but to make it a bit personal I am making a one line handwritten aside in the bottom margin.

In my case being in Ireland I mention that I am sorely aware of the dollar losing value and concerned for our children about the financial future of the USA. To highlight the drop in the dollar, in the margin I write that it costs US tourists $4 - $5 for a cup of coffee here.

I hope the letter coming from Ireland will give prick peoples curiosity causing them to read it in full.

Are they able to distribute the names and addresses in a way as to make sure that all the names get covered, without people getting doubles?

afaik, the 700k master set is in one person's hands, and they are keeping tabs on which names are distributed. :)

no word yet from Bryce. Josh has a several hundred names left out of the 1000 he received. Keep up the good work and request those names from Josh/Bryce! :)

You guys rock! Josh told me he's sent out an additional 300 names/addresses to us over the last few days. :)

Hey, Everybody:

Our MeetUp group is doing this right now and I am overseeing it. We still have 240 names available. If you want some of them, PM me and I will forward you as many as you want, but most everyone in our group is only doing 15-30 names each so that we can handwrite them all.

*** Just wanted to clarify: We are doing this in Macon, Albany, and Milledgville Georgia splitting 1500 of the names (from the initial list of 700,000) among about 100 of us. But we still have some names not covered. So if you want to write some letters to the Iowans, PM me and I will send you some names left from OUR list.

Sorry to be so confusing. -A.S.

I've written only 3 so far. :(

I haven't done this much handwriting since high school.

I think that printed personal letters hand signed would be as effective as hand written letters if not more so because the recipient doesn't have to struggle to read bad hand writing. If I recieved a personal letter from someone no matter what they were saying I would read the whole thing just because they felt strong enought to put the effort in.

I would like some addresses to work with.
