Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Hello! I'm Mark Keller, a high school senior from Wisconsin - and am anticipating casting my first vote for Ron Paul. The sad part is, I'll not be old enough to vote in our state's primaries, so, if he doesn't make the Republican nomination, I'll be writing Dr. Paul in on my ballot.

I first heard about Ron Paul from an online friend, from Denmark, of all places. I was fairly interested at first, and as time went on, and I learned more about the Good Doctor, I became a more and more ardent supporter. Not until I began writing a speech for the American Legion's oratorical contest - studying the Constitution and researching constitutional issues online - though, did I realize what crooks so many of the other candidates are, and how seriously we need Ron Paul as our president. Since then I've been supporting him whole-heartedly, and getting most of my friends mad at me (who are for the war in Iraq). :)

Hi! I'm Dale from Fort Wayne, IN. I own a small, struggling computer shop, and also work in a Sheet Metal Shop.
Dr. Paul may be our last chance at an honest politician in my lifetime. Last presidential vote was cast for Ronald Reagan. Have contributed to both money bombs, and continue to debate the merits of this candidate with anyone who'll listen.
I have several questions on issues, and figured this was the place to get them answered/explained.

Hi! I'm Gavin from San Francisco. I'm a Catholic who is sick of being forced to vote for Republican politicians simply because of their stance on abortion. What's so great about an anti-abortion candidate who wants to keep us bogged down in a bloodbath in the middle east for 100 years?

Ron Paul is a candidate that Catholics can vote for without losing sleep. He's against abortion, pro-peace, and supports our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! :D I'm determined to do anything I can to help Ron Paul win the Catholic vote.

Hi everyone,
I'm a 27 year old from Fort Worth Texas. I have my B.S. in Biology and my Doctorate of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor Iam seriously worried about our health system. Ron Paul is a very good solution to this problem.
I'm tired of being lied to by our government. I want liberty and freedom, this is what our country was founded on and this is how the country should be now. We need to do more advertising on the web and on T.V. Please tell everyone you know about Ron Paul.

Hi everybody! My name is Thomas and I am proud to a proud supporter of Dr. Paul! I've made a few posts around the forums already and I've been reading for a few days before I registred here and I just want to say we ened to put this place back aon the right track! Lots of people are happy to just complain and second guess Dr. Paul and I think its hurting his campaign!

So lets' keep morale up peopel! We all want one thing here, and that's to get Ron Paul as president of our great nation and make it the even greater nation it once was!!

If anybody wnats a solid supporter of Dr. Paul you're welcome to add me onto your Myspace website friends! The link to it is in my profile if I did it right! I just created mine after being told what a powerful networkin g tool it is and I want a good network of Ron Paul supporters in my life! Only contact me if you are serious about your support of the constitiuition and Dr. Paul though!

One thing about me is I am a 30 year old college student, lol, I finally went back, and I'm studying to beconme a history teacher because I want to be able to learn where we went wrong and teach others about it, and hopefully someday I'll know enuogh to lead it all in to why we need a man like Dr. Paul! I want to change young hearts and minds before they get a chance to buy into all the negative junk that the establishment feeds them!

Hey

My name is A.J. I live in Northern Virginia, and I have one of those mySpace pages: http://www.myspace.com/ajliptak

I'm 38 years old, a desk jerk with a local airline, a husband and father.

I've have never been as excited over a Presidential candidate as I am of Ron Paul. I wont bother listing my reasons; I'm very sure they match up with pretty much everyone here: we want back what was given to us by the Founders.

A quote from one of my favorite movies: "So it's every hand to his rope or gun, quick's the word and sharp's the action. After all... [the Founders are] on our side."

Hi, my name is Ryan. I'm 15 so sadly I can't vote yet,, but I'll be sure to vote when Ron Paul runs for reelection. :P I've been a supporter of Dr. Paul since I heard his message which sadly wasn't until recently but I hope to help his campaign in some way.

My parents will be voting for Ron Paul though.

I'm Steve, 29, a web developer from Southern Maine. Ron Paul cured my apathy for sure....Glad to be part of this! If Ross Perot beat Bush in Maine, Ron Paul should dominate. But then again -- there was no Fau News in 1992.....:-)

Ron Paul / Angus King 2008!

Hi. I'm Ken and I've been as active as possible in the arena of liberty and constitutional issues for about 20 years. I first voted for Dr. Paul back in 1988 when he ran as a libertarian and was pleased to have the opportunity to vote for him again in the recent NH primaries.

Thanks to everyone here for thier support of Dr.Paul and the cause of liberty. It's been refreshing to see so many people rally around this campaign and for an old liberty dog like myself it brings new hope for the future.

Howdy. I am Jefferson, from Calgary, Alberta.

I am a liberal (I will not surrender that word to today's socialists). I am a big fan of Rand, Mises, Bastiat (who Ron Paul have all mentioned) among others. Ron Paul's defense of liberty and individualism is refreshing and it is about damn time. The US can be the shining beacon on the hill again.

I have been here for a few weeks, but finally decided to introduce myself proper.

I am Nicole, 27 f, married, i live in suburbs of NY near the CT border. I am a member of CT meetup group but have sadly never got to attend the meetups, i just recently joined with NY meetup group as well, and hope to get busier, especially now that our states are coming due.

I work from home, hence, way to much time and distractions, lol.

I love Ron Paul, his message of Freedom, my husband and I have been educating friends about Ron paul for months, possibly even close to a year now. I never anticipated this to all blossom as it did, and it has been really neat to be a part of what feels like a pivotal point in history. I dont have kids yet, but i do look forward to telling them about this amazing experience.

I am thankful I found Ron Paul, his message and it fired me up to finally speak my mind (no more baabaaa) and find my true political happy voice/place, which I never thought I would have.

The only negative has been the stress and dealing with family/friends who just "dont get it" but i have learned you have to pick your battles in life. I am pulling for Ron, and this mission for him and his message has become such a huge part of my life. That is the long and short of it. I find these forums very educational, entertaining and think people here have a great sense of humor.

Great to meet you all :)

Go Ron!! 2008 all the way!!

Hi folks!

My name is Steve and I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. My wife and I have picked up on RP's campaign since around October. I hate to admit it, but until then we really didn't have a clue about him and we are both in our early 50's! We knew of him but like so many people, kept listening to the bullcrap on TV and a few close friends and paid attention to other candidates.

Until I kept seeing posters and banners around Myrtle Beach that had "YouTube Ron Paul".

We did, and BAM! In 51 years of my life and voting for well over half of that, finally a person who thinks like me! Where the heck was I all those years??!!

I met him here in Myrtle Beach yesterday, shook the mans hand and let him know he has my support and vote. Got plenty of pictures to. As soon as I figure this forum out on how to post them I will.

RON PAUL for President for sure!

Hello fellow Ron Paul supporters.

My name is Dominic, and reside in Arizona. I have come here to discuss my interests in this awesome movement(campaign). I am not old enough to vote just yet, as I am still a Junior in High school just 17 years old. That won't stop be from being a loyal supporter, I just wish I could do more than cheer on Ron Paul and actually vote for him. Anyways hopefully I will get to meet some of you and share my views. Thanks and see you all around.

Hi guys,
My name is Robert Meservy, I'm 24 years old and currently living in Logan, Utah.
I was a die-hard democrat until my party let me down by not doing as they promised and was trying to figure out which of the candidates was the lesser of the evils when one of my coworkers asked me on monday what I knew about Ron Paul.
After his explained the truth behind my misconceptions (Isn't he that crazy guy that wants to make drugs legal and get rid of taxes?) I did some research and discovered that Ron Paul is the best candidate that I have ever seen.
Since finding out the truth I have managed to convince 4 of my friends to vote Ron Paul and I'm looking forward to getting the message out and the next money bomb. Jan 21st baby!

Hey All,

I'm Steve, 36, a dad, programmer, veteran. I live in Phoenix AZ and was curious what Ron Paul was about after seeing the signs all over town. YES THEY DO WORK!!! LOL I've always been disgusted by politicians, until Dr. Paul. I've convinced others to look into Dr. Paul, hopefully they come around. :)

intro

Hi, I'm Matt and I live in Lake Charles, LA. I was a registered Libertarian until Ron Paul announced he was running for Pres, so I switched to the Rep so I could vote for him in the primary.

Turn ons: personal liberty, privacy, small govt, lower taxes, and no nation building.

Turn offs: high taxes, abortion (murder), corrupt politicians, trillion dollar debts, and ever expanding federal govt.

I'll try to stop in from time to time and contribute my thoughts on hot topics.

Thanks!

Hello, I am new, and decided to join the Ron Paul campaign. I looked at his record very closely, and while I do not agree with everything he says, he sure as hell has better ideas than the others in the field.

Thank you for your time.

My name is Felix (like the cat.) I support Dr. Paul primarily because of his stance on physician assisted murder of fetuses and sound economic policy.

The war in Iraq is a distant tertiary concern to me: I worry far less about trained/volunteer soldiers fighting a battle that could have positive (and certainly has its negative as well) consequences on the world, compared to the brutal slaughter of 48 MILLION children. Children that are tortured and killed by Doctors who have sworn an oath to protect life and by mothers/fathers who break the very laws of human decency by turning rabid on their own children.

I believe as an OBGYN that Dr. Paul is uniquely qualified to understand the ghastly slaughter that is going on in the USA, and I hope as President he will nominate Justices that will overturn Roe V. Wade and allow States/Local Communities to determine if they will tolerate mass murder.
