Im a neophite AT this , so I'M NOT SURE WHO SEE'S THESE POSTS , BUT I THINK THAT MR. PAUL SHOULD USE THE NATIONAL DEBT DOLLAR GRAPH IN HIS POLITICAL ADDS AND DISPLAY IT IN VERTED VIEW

Well lets see here... I'm a 19 year old guy supporting myself and living on my own in Boston MA whilst going to school for anthropology. I'm supporting RP because he's clearly the only candidate capable of bringing this country back to where it needs to be. I've converted many friends - in person and online, and up next will be convincing the family.

Cheers to all

Chris - 40s, Wakefield, MA. The first time I saw Ron Paul and was introduced to libertarianism was on "Firing Line" hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr. in 1988. I was a Reagan supporter and eventually voted for his VP in that election. But I distinctly recall Ron Paul on that show and how he held a lot of the same views he does today. Ron Paul was a strong Reagan ally in the House, and took his limited government appeals to heart. Today, Paul is the ONLY principled fiscal conservative in this race. Listening to David Walker (the U.S. Comptroller General) talk about the probability that this war will cost $1 trillion or more is truly very frightening to me. And we are now building a base in Iraq that will cost (according to some accounts) over $100 billion. We are freely wasting China and Japan's investment in this country, our dollar is in the basement, and like Social Security, we are involved in yet another "Ponzi scheme." These times were made for Ron Paul. I do hope he will succeed in New Hampshire on Tuesday. I am grateful he's in the presidential race.

inverted graph

good idea.
how about we take it bigger

1)take out billboards all over the country with each candidates face

2)tally up each campaign promise

3)have a running total of each candidates promise.

I have a contact at clear channel communications. his name is troy mulert. One of my best friends in the world.

Call him up in the sacramento office and tell him "jake sent me"

make sure you say this if you call....or you will not get the special deal I have already worked out.

be creative. He can sell you any billboard in the country.
He is on the level.
We have pulled off many a caper.
he is a gun
we we were 18 he was the number 11th ranked tennis player in florida
and number 30 in the country
we trained 5 hours a day in the florida sun together.
I owe him a favor.
I could not bring myself to go to his younger brothers funeral when he died in a
"car accident" in cabo
there was no mention of blood alcohol level.
It was my fault.
I taught him to drink drug and party.
he just took a wrong turn.
I was crushed.
and I could not dishonor his family by showing my pathetic face at the funeral.
I was a coward.
I loved his brother like a brother.
his name was travis
may he rest in peace.
I am sorry trav
I love you kid.
there. I made my amends.
in public.
another 9th step taken.
pass it on.

I'm completely feed up with the politics of this country. If you want to see the sorry state of affairs this country is in go to the above site . Then turn the graph over. This will give you a true picture of the national Debt.

Forget all that crap about % of GDP that's a fictitious number fueled by artificial numbers in the housing markets and the funny money in the stock market.

I am an apolitical person interested only in the welfare of this nation. i need not remind you that this nation is the citizenry not the scum that we call the Government. Mr Paul is the first candidate in my lifetime who has had the guts to call a spade a spade. I am 65 years old and I have yet to see one single conservative Candidate until now.

In case you think that Reagen or any other Republican President ever, was a conservative look at the national debt numbers.

I'm afraid that no matter who gets elected we are in for devastation as a nation

Social Security. The Social Security mess really started with Lyndon Johnson when he maneuvered the unified budget int existence to cover the true cost of the Vietnam War. i worked for that agency for 17 years and watch as the agency and its programs were devastated and its purpose perverted beyond recognition, by politicians on all sides. i resigned from Government service in disgust , with drew all my retirement money and Swore that from that day forward that the Government was the enemy. Still feel that way. I resigned in 1989.

The trust fund has been empty for years. nothing there but a pile of IOU"S.

Wilson, 38. I have a painting business in Houston area, and I am very excited about Ron Paul, because he really is the clear choice for our next President. I think Dr. Paul, with his issues, will wake up many people about the direction of America. He is a testament, why the Internet should be protected from big media, and it's host of groups that have a strangle hold on our government. I like his record, and the fact he stands so strong in the fight in the midst of so much opposition.
Watching the media and many so called conservatives, struggle with issues he supports is unbelievable. Thanks Dr. Paul, for what you have done already.

Oh yeah. Forgot about threads like this. heh. I'm Charles Hyde, and I'm 20 years young from West Blocton, AL. Since Dr. Paul synthesized a cure for apathy, I've been able to regain almost 100% mobility.... lol.

Recent signed up as a precinct leader. I'll start the going door to door tommorow, and I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll really gain a lot of ppl. Wahoo!

man up marine. I am not asking for your opinion. Only your committment. If you are so sad about it go on a hunger strike. Great way to find G-D. Nonviolence is more powerful than violence. because the violent man can choose to become nonviolent but the coward is worthless. So if you care. Do something. Go to jail. Lay down in the streets and cry. Scream at the top of your lungs from the nearest mountaintop. We will win. There is no stoping the truth. That is why Ron Paul is alive. To kill him would be meaningless. the movement has already taken root. There is no losing. Brute force trauma. Body Blows. Read the book of leviticus. QWest. You are the burt sacruifice......get it. lay down. Look up burma. And then if you want to whine........you man up and you whine in a mental institution doing the thorazine shuffle. Freedom is a bottom up job. And your only choice is are you in or are you woulda shoulda coulda.
See you in the trenches son. But it is very dangerous to be there. They are playing with live ammo out there

I'm new to this forum but I've posted for years at freetalklive.com. I'm having a little problem here finding the equivalent to their "see new replies to your posts". I want to see if there are any responses to what I've posted without having to search for my thread. Is there a similar function on this forum?

Thanks

this is war. rp. if he is smart is smart will be the first candidate to provoke our enemy andrw call for all out war on iran. all the candidates will follow immediately
sorry everybody.
could not break news to you earlier.

Ron Paul has our full support.
I think that the purchasing of our own media might be the answer
at this point.

He is the Hope for our country and more people need to know
about him. Denise

Hello everyone, my name is John and I'm a tattoo artist who is origionally from Houston, TX but has since moved out to Los Angeles as of a year ago. I've grown up Republican under the Reagan administration and have always believed in the core beliefs of lower taxes/increased revenues and non-military-intervention. I also agree with all of the core issues Ron Paul has elaborated upon for his campaign, (and career!)

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am a college student living in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I was referred to this forum by my brother who is an avid Ron Paul supporter as well.

Typically, I consider myself a democrat. But I am very disappointed with the democrat candidates for 2008. Once I was introduced to Ron Paul, I knew he had my vote.

This looks like a great forum and I am already excited to be here :)

My name is Brian. I am 25, from near Chicago and this will be my first time voting. I have always had strong political beliefs, but never had any reason to follow or care about a presidential candidate. I would try, but as we all know typical politicians, especially in recent years - my voting years - has been untrustworthy and monotonous. Nearly every politician I have researched has been the typical cookie-cutter politician. No matter what they, you can't trust it because the last 10 guys said things to get elected and their promises fell through as well. This speaks greatly to their personality and moral character.

I do not want, nor expect, a candidate to want everything that I want. I am open to voting for someone who believes in something I may not because no one will have my same feelings - that's life.

Moral characteristics sometimes mean more than political stances. I want someone to lead who was not always a leader. Someone who has gone through life knowing what it's like for the typical American. If a candidate can look me in the eye and say "I get it... i know how you feel, I was there at one point" I need to believe it. Respect for the people they lead is a general description for a whole batch of actions, feelings, and abilities too deep to go into, but it can be summed up as "treat others as you wish to be treated". Respect for themselves... This one can be summed up as "Making the wisest decisions" I suppose. Do you do what's best to take care of yourself, your family and friends, and ultimately make the most of your day that you can? A trustworthy politician...Is there one? I'm ok hearing something I won't like - so don't BS me. Don't assume you know what’s best for me and keep it from me. Don't tell me something is for my own good when that is the furthest thing on your mind. Do not change policy or try to sway public opinion during election times. Do your job. Do it well, and earn your spot just like I have to at my job. A candidate needs to understand I bust my ass off at work to sometimes barely take care of my family. They need to be realistic of the problems we have here. I cringe every time I hear a political figure talk about the hardships our lower and lower-middle class go through. I want a leader who is not a leader because they have the best slogan, slickest hair, famous spouse, or hippest attitude. I do not want a leader who take the same damn arguments that have been debated for my entire lifetime, throw a tweak on it or some new statistic and call it their own and run with it when every other candidate is doing the same exact thing and crying like babies about it. (When watching the debates I feel like I'm in high school again expected to vote for the cheerleader or the band geek). I want to hear the HOW not that WHAT with regaurds to problems and solutions (something I beleive only RP has done so far this campaign) I know what the problem is, I know what would be ideal to make everyone happy. Don't regurgitate it for me. Tell me your plan and don't underestimate my intelligence. (Please hold yourself back from pointing out the irony of that sentence and the inevitable spelling mistakes. Thanks. :) )

When change is needed a leader can not be scared to be the first one to speak up, and must refuse to sit down.

I digress...
I have been researching many candidates for about a year and a half now and Ron Paul has had my support, both online and by donation for nearly all that time. I may not agree with everything, but I truly feel I can trust what he says. His record proves that. This country needs a change. I need a change. Ignoring my age, this will be one of the most important elections in our governments history. I know for me personally, it will definitely be the most important election. I am young at 25, and for my family, for my job, and my long future here and hopefully in the military I need to see change and I believe Ron Paul knows the way to make that happen.

How's that for an intro?
