Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Donald Trump became president and triggered a bunch of lefties. In their freak out, they launched a three tier fear campaign: (1) rioting to threaten the safety of person and property, (2) scamdemic to threaten health, and (3) the Ukraine thing to threaten WWIII. They figured one of those boogie men would resonate with everyone. They then added the trans thing to fully distract everyone from the decline of the petro dollar and ultimately the collapse of the USA. Oh, and Epstein didn't kill himself.

Welcome back.

Unfortunately I didn't miss that ;) very accurate summary!

Hello Lads,

As I was conducting researches on Ron Paul for my thesis on the inception of paleolibertarianism in the US, i stumbled upon this forum. Which is to my surprise still very active (i thought those were remnants of the pasts).

Considering the biased representation the libertarian movement receives in the media, i thought i'd directly survey you to get know your political views better. To be more precise, I'd like to know in which way the political and economical positionment of libertarian activists (which I believe you consider yourself to be) tends to differ, or converge, with the most influencial authors, thinkers, politicians, of the movement.

Thus, if you would be so kind as to fill out the following survey, it would greatly aid my researching endeavors:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...XYKmR3cavl4CIxT5UBTE2cIg/viewform?usp=sf_link

Know that this will take about 5 minutes to fill out and that it is split in 2 sections. The first one focuses on your personal politic and economic views, whereas the second part focuses on your affinities with the authors that in some fashion paved the way for this movement.

About me : I am in my first year of P.H.D in History of economic thought at Paris Panthéon Sorbonne University. I consider myself an anarchist.

Thanks in advance to everyone that will take the time to answer this survey. I'll answer every relevant question for the following weeks.
As this is my first contribution on this forum, let me know if I breached any of your community guidelines.
Cheers :)

I was a popular contributor at DailyPaul.com, and when the site was shut down, I lost a home. I'm not that easily deterred. It's been 10 years now, and a few years ago I decided it was time to rebuild. The time is soon approaching. Get your popcorn handy, ladies and gentlemen.

I'm new to the forums. I'm a 19-year-old cisgender pansexual dude living in South Carolina (very begrudgingly - I hope to return to Alaska where I spent most of my life). I spent the majority of my high school years shifting my ideologies as new viewpoints were introduced to me, including the very regrettable Republican phase, the Democrat phase, the Centrist phase, and eventually I just got tired of all the terminology and called myself apolitical (though I still held views).

The past year, I've been figuring out what I truly believe, and have entered the wonderful world of Libertarianism. I'm proud to call myself a queer Libertarian, and hope to have plenty of discussion on this forum. I wasn't able to register to vote last year, but hope to register before the next cycle. Hoping Chase Oliver runs again, since he seems pretty based as far as candidates go.

I'm sure many of the posters here will look forward to and encourage you to "vote". It's the “patriotic” thing to do, after all, and promoting lesser of evil is better than not being complicit at all.

Don't count me as one of them.
