Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Why I'm here

I never had much interest in politics when I was younger. I'm 28 now, and have been paying attention since Bush&co started selling the war in Iraq to the American people. I voted for Kerry in '04 which was just a vote against Bush.

How did he get re-elected and how has he not been impeached for leading us to war under false pretenses? This country is in terrible shape. The president, vp, congress, etc sure don't represent my wishes at all.

I am shocked at having the opportunity to vote for someone as intelligent and principled as Dr. Paul and will continue to donate to him as long as he remains in the presidential race. I will dig deeper into his writings in the future. Hearing the truth from an educated long-time politician is just too incredible.

GO RON PAUL!

My name is Matt Williams and I am an citizen of the United States of America. I live in the Metro Atlanta area and have been following Ron Paul for some time now. I like getting to the point so here is why:

1. The US Dollar is going to drop to historic lows. Something needs to be done with the spending in the federal government.
2. I am a true Libertarian (which saves from from listing the other reasons why I love Ron Paul)

My name is Ronald Lewis. I am a 28 year old atheist, free thinker, independent and imagineer living in Denver, Colorado. I maintain ronaldlewis.com, direcpod.com and a few other web sites which are focused around my thoughts, ambitions and other interests.

I am for a small government which serves its people, the abolishment of the IRS and Federal Reserve and a nation which is rewarded based upon merit and capability alone. I also wish to see an end to a nation built upon handouts and the eradication of a race-based society.

If Ron Paul or Obama are not elected President, then there's no other choice left but to overthrow our existing government and to re-declare this nation's independence.

Hi from Central Illinois - I am a retired teacher and am concerned for the future of our country and for the future for my children/grandchildren. I see Ron Paul as the answer

My name is Melissa. I'm a Nebraska Democrat who is changing my party to vote for Ron Paul...Let freedom ring!!

Hey. I'm George, a 17 year old high school student from Northeastern PA. I have been enlightened by Ron Paul's campaign after years in a trance-like uninformed state and have done hours upon hours upon hours of research on the guy and his views/hopes for the future of our country in the last 2 1/2 months. I have been on YouTube, watching just about everything on Ron Paul, commenting frequently and finally came to the realization that I should sign up for a Ron Paul forum. And here I am! I will be turning 18 in February and will be voting in the PA primaries this April.

Hey

I am a high school student in Southwest WA. I have been confused about who should be President out of the bunch of candidates, but after looking at Ron Paul in depth, I am for him all the way. I'll try to volunteer after this recent bout of homework my teachers have decided to pile on dies down, probably Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Hi, I'm Brenda, and I am currently 18 and a first-time voter. I'm a college student living in Michigan, studying information systems. I first heard of Ron Paul back in September and have been enthralled ever since with his message of limited government and a return to the Constitution. I will definitely place my vote for him come January in the primaries.

Hi guys.

My name is ben. im 28 and live in indianapolis, IN. i got my physics BS (cum laude) from WVU in 2002, and my MS in math from purdue. I work for a non-profit mathematics co. that teaches advanced math topics to the low functioning kids that are so abundant around the indy area.

i first read about paul about a year ago and was immediately impressed. i did some more research and found what i thought didnt exist anymore. an honest principled small-government conservative. since ive been following paul (almost fanatically so) ive started to read hayek's "the road to serfdom" and have become increasingly interested in economics and history. I got a copy of Carroll Quigley's "Tragedy and Hope", and i now watch CNBC almost every night. it is clear to me that RP is the only candidate who can save america from its decline.

i have so much respect for everyone here, and everyone who is out there trying to make a difference right now. it has always been a minority that has driven the engine of revolution, and im proud to be a part of this revolution with all you people.

Hi ! I've been a follower of Ron Paul for a lone time. I post many articles about Ron Paul on my blog site www.theinformer.vox.com. I have contribute to Ron Paul's campaign two times and will continue to do so. Ron Paul is the last gasp to save this nation from those who are partitioning this nation to globalist interests.

hello fellow supporters

27 yr male from the bay area here. 2 beautiful kids and wife. Ron Paul has sparked something inside me. Ive always been a glass half-empty kind of guy, but not anymore. I have so much hope for the future now, its truly amazing how much this movement has changed me. I am glad to be a part of something so special and historic.

Hi I am Mark and I am 29 years old live in Punta Gorda Florida. I am online a lot as I work in selling manufactured homes. And fact is it is the slowest it has ever been according to the "OLD TIMERS" anyway.

Welcome, fellow patriots! I see a lot of us are pretty young still...this is good news, since a new generation of freedom-lovers has been created.

Hi. I am Debbie, a 50 plus year old clerical worker from Connecticut. Other than voting in the general elections, I have not been active in politics before now. Whenever I found myself involved in a political discussion, I would describe my idea of the perfect candidate to whomever would listen. Then I would sadly conclude that such a person could never be elected in the America we are living in today. When someone told me about Ron Paul, I found the one I have been looking for. Best of all, he is gaining support as more people hear his message, so I am hopeful that there are still enough people who care about the future of our nation.

This is the first campaign I have ever donated to. I am not much of an organizer, but I hope to help in other ways, such as writing letters, waving signs, and telling people about Dr. Paul whenever I can.

Introduction

Good evening!

I have been watching these boards for maybe six weeks now, and have been a member for a few weeks. However, I normally read but don't talk much, if that makes any sense. That's gonna change now.

With yesterday's haul (I was in for a hundred bucks!) I REALLY think Dr. Paul is destined to make history!

I am 34 and married. My wife and I live in southern Minnesota and have no children. (Now or ever, yay.) We both work "normal" monday-friday nine-to-five type jobs. I have been a Libertarian Party member for about ten years, and my wife, though she basically agrees with me, is MUCH more "apolitical" than I am. (But I'm working on her.)

Anyway, I look forward to participating in the discussions here from now until the day Ron Paul is sworn into office!!

Chad

I am a 45 year old woman who has voted Libertarian at every opportunity my entire life. I am the odd duck in this crowd perhaps, because as the years passed and it became increasingly obvious that we were abandoning the Constitution, I would vote to err with the Democrats. Long accused of being "flaming liberal" it is such a joy to finally have a candidate that I can point to and say "THAT is what I SUPPORT, not what I deem the lesser of two evils."
