Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Greetings from Inverness, Scotland. Like so many others my wife and I used to be GW Bush supporters but our eyes and ears have been opened. We are Christians and we know that many evangelical Christians are supporting Mike Huckabee. This is because they are still blinded by their mistaken belief that the State of Israel is a fulfilment of certain biblical prophecies and they support it fervently. This has led them into justifying an unjust war, torture, and the killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians, all contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ. We do not believe that Mr. Huckabee is aware of his apostasy, he is blind, as we also were at one time.

Although we cannot vote, being UK citizens, we do pray for Dr. Paul and we know that his candidacy is vitally important for the United States and for the world. His name means "humble ruler" and his election would signify a repentance by the People for the hubris of US foreign policy and the departure of the nation from its covenant with God, as evidenced in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The first consequence of that departure was the placing of the nation into captivity to "Mystery Babylon", the international banking cartel centred on the Federal Reserve, in 1913. This captivity could have ended, after 70 years, in 1983. In 1981-82, Dr. Ron Paul was active in setting up a Gold Commission under President Reagan to examine the possibility of moving into a sound money regime and away from the clutches of the Federal Reserve. His Minority Report in 1982 was later published by the Mises Institute as "The Case for Gold" with Lewis E. Lehrman. The Majority Report recommended remaining with the status quo and President Reagan accepted this. So the USA lost the opportunity to be free of the money power at that time. Since then the bankers have increased their control of the nation and the world monetary system and the nation has moved further away from her covenanted course. There was a possibility of a judgement falling in 1998 but on September 11 of that year the nation was given a three year reprieve, a period of grace, when President Clinton repented of his adultery and asked for forgiveness from God, quoting Psalm 51 which King David wrote after his adultery with Bathsheba. Since there was no national repentance during this time, for adultery with the foreign gods (ideologies, authorities) of Mystery Babylon, the first judgement fell on September 11, 2001.

Now, once again, God is using Dr. Ron Paul as a sign to the United States, this time directly to the People. If Dr. Paul is elected, this signalled repentance would result in an answer to the prayer of the People after 9/11, "God Bless America". Do you not find it interesting that Dr. Paul is an obstetrician. Is he being used to bring forth a new birth of the nation? God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise and the weak things to confound the mighty.

My wife and I do not know the outcome of these things. We do believe that if the United States turns away from this offer of grace then judgment will fall again. What form that will take we do not know. We are praying that God will open the ears and eyes of the people to hear the message and see the truth. May God bless America by turning her back to her covenanted course under the Constitution.

Hello

I am a 37 year old business owner and in my spare time pursue independent filmmaking. I am a father of a 7 year old and for the first time in my voting history and life, I have a real hope for America. Ron Paul speaks my langauge on every single issue while the rest of the candidates present us with the same old song.

I will be writing in Ron Pauls name no matter what come November and am ready to vote in my states Primary.

I am embarrassed for my gvoernment and wonder why the greatest nation on earth is making enemies and not making friends ?

I feel as if this is a special time in my life, one I can be proud of and one I can pass on to my son. I have always subscribed to a Libertarian belief; limited government.

I have filmmkaing equipment and am already spinning my wheels on how I can help this great cause. I have never donated in my life until this week for Ron Paul. I have never voted in a Primary until this May in NC.

First of all "Thank You Dr. Paul" for standing up for us against the type of "government" we are under now.

I'm a 59yr old veteran who has never enough interest in politics to vote in any election. I will be voting this time around because things have gotten so bad and there is finally someone running FOR the American citizen, not big business. My SO and I retired a couple of years age and hope to spend some time getting a meetup group started in Commerce Texas.
My signiture line is the thing that really makes me "mad as h**" in an endless list of things.

Hello,

My name is Chris. I'm a 41 year old father of 5 from Michigan. I've never voted in a primary before, have no party affiliation, and have certainly never donated any money to any political candidate...until now.

I missed the first money bomb on Nov 5, but am glad to have donated on Dec 16. Ron Paul is a refreshing and much needed change to the American political landscape, and I'll be voting in my first primary on Jan 15.

Dr. Paul cured my apathy.

I'm originally from North Carolina and have been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I have great concern for my beloved country, USA. I have a unique perspective as I view less biased news via BBC and sources on the internet. America is in diar need of a president who will bring back respect to the United States. I have been studying the various candidates and believe Ron Paul is the best candidate. I believe what he says about the war and our economy. I do wonder what he will do with health care and Soc Sec. I am well impressed by his direct answers which are full of substance. I'm still trying to figure out what Huckabee's message is. He seems to talk alot about his wonderful message...but what is it? I am encouraging all of my friends to give Ron Paul the consideration he is due. And if Giuliani, Huckabee or Clinton get in...I'm moving to the moon.

I am a 39 year old cashier form the hills of West Virginia. I became a supporter of the good doctor during my research into the events of 9/11/01. I can honestly say I was thinking of moving out of the country, because of the apathy I was encountering in my searches. Ron Paul gave me a reason to stay and fight, and I am constantly amazed at the amount of people that plan on voting for, and campaigning for him. It's time this government got the enema it needs, and who better to deliver it! Thank you Dr. Paul.

I am a visitor from CU. Friend of Gator and one of the people who agrees with Dr. Paul on most of the issues.

What I disagree on is the naive foreign policy stances he has taken. I cannot vote for him in the primaries, but he would get my vote in a general election.

Hey everybody! My name is Lars and I'm quite active in the Monroe County, PA Ron Paul meetup group 887.

I will try to participate as much as I can on this forum and also do what I can to get Dr. Paul elected.

Hello I am Maxine I am not an American, I am an Australian. I am 33 years old.

Next year I plan to marry an American and he supports Ron Paul. So I have come to learn more :)

Well, hope I didn't commit too bad a faux pax by posting before I introduced myself. Ain’t the first one I ever committed. I really do believe in manners though. That and firearms are the only things that separate us from the animals, university professors and cultural Marxists.

I’m one of those rare Americans that has read the Constitution and at least thinks he has somewhat of a grasp of the reasons it was written the way it was.

I live in the woods, close to the ground (yes Southern ground ByGod). I’m on speaking terms with the Old Master and have read His Book more than once. I’m older than a lot of you but don’t really mind. Ain’t but one thing in this ole world worse than gettin old (and that’s not gettin old)

I joined the local Republican Party once but told them I was doing so as a conscientious objector and that I was really a libertarian (That one went right over their little neo-con heads and they took my ten dollars anyway. Damit.)

I started playing a game called Zork the same year, and I've never been the same since.....

I've been Independent since Reagan and 1 month ago, walked into our election center with my entire family clutching Party Affiliation Change forms and Ron Paul T-shirts on--LOL! You should have seen the looks on their faces!

Dr. Ron is the only politician I have ever heard that makes perfect sense. I tend to believe a bit like some of the Mormons, that the Constitution is a divinely inspired work, and we should defend it. I heard about our good Dr. only a few weeks ago, and it was as if a 20 ton weight had been lifted from my chest. I don't believe that God intended for us to be in chains, or for our children to be born into debt.
Unlike any of the other candidates Dr. Paul wants to set us free. God Bless Dr Ron Paul.

My name is Deborah. I am a 37 year old housewife with three children. My husband and I are Ron Paul supporters! We are trying to get Dr. Paul's message of Freedom and the Constitution out here in Georgia.

Go Ron Paul 2008!

I'm Patricia Mikkelson. I just stepped down as organizer for the Fayetteville Arkansas Ron Paul meetup group because I wanted to focus more attention on supporting Ron Paul meetups to be as effective as they possibly can be. I just submitted some posts about how I see that happening.

I am mother of two children. My husband, former husband, and our kids all support Ron Paul. I feel grateful to have this forum as a place to come and discuss the issues.

I have over 33 years experience in working with groups and finding the best ways to help people work together effectively. I certainly haven't found all the answers, but all my research that I have done for the past 8 years has now been totally validated.

My dream is that I can find others who want to form a team which can utilize the best of the best of the information out there to inspire those who are organizing, planting, or in other ways supporting Meetups. I hope that there will be a Ron Paul support group in every precinct in the nation by Oct. 2008 so that when Ron Paul is elected, we will have a grassroots organization that is truly run locally. I envision that these Ron Paul precinct support groups will not only get people out to the vote in record numbers to elect Ron Paul either as a republican, or a write in, or an independent candidate, but they will be cooperating with each other extensively.

As precincts work together to elect Ron Paul, they will also find that they might want to do emergency preparedness projects, elect local officials who are in alignment with Ron Paul's values, grow gardens, create homeschooling groups, grow an abundance of food in their front yards and community gardens and much more.

I am hoping to inspire people that the times truly are a changing, and that it would benefit us to think outside the box of traditional politics, and see that we truly can win this election against all odds.

I started a blog called www.pray4ronpaul.wordpress.com I invite you who believe in prayers to join me in praying for Ron Paul, because for me that is the foundation of everything I am doing for this campaign. I want to seek God's guidance and bathe everything I do in prayer so that I don't do all this work on my own power. I've done too much of that in my life as it is.

Thanks to all of you who have worked so hard on this campaign, and who are putting out all these great ideas. I also appreciate who ever is moderating this forum--it looks very organized, and for the most part so peaceful and cooperative! I wish I had joined a long time ago!

My name is Jeffrey Paine and I'm a Ron Paul supporter. :)
