Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Hi - I am from the UK. Having read Ron Paul's book, The Revolution: A Maifesto, I was captivated by his ideas and ability to put those ideas into words a layperson like me could understand and contemplate.

Welcome. Hope you get rid of that socialist health care system in the UK and make it an attractive place again.

Hello from Wyoming!
Liberty is sort of hampered by the "christian-sharia" crowd here in the West - but my husband and I do our best to promote the ideals of Ron Paul and freedom. I also participate in the Free State Wyoming Forum (spin off of FSP headed by Boston T. Party.) There is a liberty crowd here in Wyoming, albeit small. Happy to be around some more liberty-minded folk.

RUN RON RUN!

I am Sovereign Curtis. Ron Paul started me on my path to Liberty and what an adventure its been!

It started with quitting my job back in 07 and driving from NC to NH to go door to door for two months, pimping Dr Paul!

I made the move to NH during PorcFest 2009, helped organize PorcFest 2010, and now I'm Head Organizer for PorcFest 2011!

Hi folks! I'm glad I finally found this place. I'm a physicist and spend much of my free time working out, shooting guns, and reading all kinds of stuff. Regarding this forum's namesake, I've been a huge fan of Ron Paul ever since I first heard of him. I remember thinking to myself, "THIS is how all American politicians were meant to be. Finally, an elected official I can actually respect -- someone who truly deserves the word 'honorable' in front of his name!"

Hello my name is Brad and I'm a neocon.

But I've been clean since winter 2009.

I'm a transplant from Nashville, TN all the way to Jackson Hole, WY. I absolutely have become enthralled by the Constitution, Ron Paul & Milton Friedman. Revolution (Paul) and Free to Choose (Friedman) have changed my life. I'm ashamed to have supported McCain even for the short time I did and I just registered Rep here in Teton County and I'm ready for the primary 2012!!!!! Especially since WY 3rd in the line up.

Hey everyone, I found this site a few days ago and decided to register. I'm an accounting student at the University of Tulsa and I'm from Dallas. I am interested in libertarian politics and there are a lot of good topics being discussed on here that i am in to. Hopefully we will have some good discussions in the near future!

Hi everyone

23 year old student here. Never had much interest in politics until I heard about Ron Paul. Looking forward to exchanging information with you guys on transitioning the current monetary system to something much better.

Howdy, y'all. I just realized I forgot to check in. Here's the Reader's Digest Condensed version of my journey:

Richard Nixon made me a Democrat.
Bill Clinton made me a Republican.
Boston T. Party made me a libertarian.
Libertarians made me a libertarian Republican.
libertarian Republicans made me a minarchist.
Fox news and CNN and MSNBC made me an anarchist.
Falling down wormhole links on the web led me here.

I've always liked Ron Paul, even when I was a Democrat. I have a great doubt in the ability to save America through politics, but still have an inkling of "wow! wouldn't' that be neat if it could work?", so I may stick around.

Hi,

I'm from Ireland. Came across Ron Paul in early 09. Been a fan ever since. He has changed my outlook on life and politics, especially middle eastern affairs.

Although, I do disagree with him on economic issues, Paul is seldom seen in politics. His contrarian sentiments and his dedicated commitment to liberty and his stances on common sense issues are what make him my favorite politician in the world. Shame he is in America and not Ireland, but I do hope that he can mount a serious challenge in 2012.

As for myself, I'd probably class myself as a fiscal conservative and socially liberal.

Glad I found this site and hope I enjoy my time on it.

I'm a 19 year old student from NY. I've been interested in Ron Paul since his 2008 campaign, and basically was a right-libertarian (economically, but socially liberal) for the past two years. Now, I'm a left-libertarian, and have been very interested in anarchism lately, both the capitalist and socialist varieties. Point being, I'll probably butt heads with some here due to my interest in left-wing economics.

It's kind of frustrating that it seems like people from every ideology hate my for my politics. I hope people here don't think I'm a troll. My devil's advocate instincts seem to piss everybody off. >_>
