Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

Welcome to all. Thank you for coming. Dr. Paul was way ahead of the curve on the current situation with our beloved Constitution, and as someone who voted for him in 1988 I think I can speak for him in saying, thank you for opening your eyes to the truth and your hearts to the children who might not grow up in a nation as free as the one we've known. If any of these grizzled veterans get too nasty, message me!
Thanks again!

Sorry my bad

Sorry my bad! I didn't introduce myself properly. I jumped in many good discussions with you earlier. Me, Myself & I, Michelle, just turned 35. Many reasons why I'm here but will name 2 or maybe 3 reasons.

1). On my first day of CA state job, Sept 4th 2001, it was few days before 9/11 attacks occurred. I didn't believe anything would have gotten any worse but gee my supervisor was right. We have been facing many significant state budget cuts, our money were robbed and used for Iraq war, others. I, as a worker with administrative contracts, lost long time working relationships with many businesses. That was not what we expected.

2). I have been Deaf all of my life and am so proud of my identity. We have our own cultures, beautiful language- American Sign Language and common experiences. I have seen more parents of deaf children are shifted into a new movement of technology called, Cochelar Implant. They choose not to use ASL to provide a great stimilus of lingustic development. That is destroying our Deaf community we once cherish and honor.

I learn that Ron Paul's grand-son is deaf and I believe he knows what we all have been going through.

I've been sending many cards with a picture of Ron Paul in Air Force uniform along with Know Before You Vote dot com all over.

Wow. almost a year later. I just went and found my first post.
Hi all,
I am new to this fourm, Ron Paul supporter. Looking for ways to help, doing some, want to do more. I came here to find ideas and like minded folks. I sometimes debate and discuss Ron and rights on another forum. I may just need this to recharge.
I am also here.

I hope I can be of service.
A lot has happened, and more to do this year.
I changed my avatar from this,

Still here.
I just put on my younger face.
Lets keep working for a Free Country.
Keep spreading the Message.

Hi - late introduction here. I didn't notice this thread oops!

I'm from California and also I'm on myspace if anyone wants to find me there!

www.myspace.com/soapmistress

I knew I would be voting for Ron Paul somewhere towards the end of 2007 but didn't realize what we were up against until about 3 days before Super Tuesday. I've been shouting it from every hilltop since then :)

My name is Jay, I'm 23 and I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I'm a painter by trade and a rebel by nature. I have never walked the beaten path and its not a particularly easy life, but its far better than submitting myself to the expectations of others.

I was raised liberal, but my allegiance is first and foremost with the founding principals and American ideals, not with bipartisan bullshit. I always like to examine all sides of an issue before taking my stance. I'm not the sort of person who lets a church, philosophy or political party dictate my opinions. most people don't know what to make of it, and they don't like that they can't predict my opinion. i'm used to being a loner anyway so it really doesn't bother me.

I'm supporting a Republican, Dr. Ron Paul, because I don't believe his fight is a partisan battle, like the typical Democrat + Republican battle for supremecy. Dr. Pauls camaign is about honoring our founding principals and ideals, and thats something that can appeal to everyone, especially in this day and age when our Constitutional rights are violated daily.

I think my only regret in life was not knowing about Ron Paul in time to do something of value for the campaign. I do however have the luxury of focusing explicitly on the future of the revolution. learn from the negative, charish the positive.

Extreme Politics

From the northwest, and Just became a political junkie, so Im just checking out the the Political blogs and seeing which candidate I will support.
I have also started a political website that is PRO-republican, so if you all can visit and post in the guestbook, on what you think and also if you have articles just post them in the guestbook.

The website is:
www.extremepolitics.net

We are supporting Ron Paul, And John McCain.
We think that Ron Paul is way more conservitive then John McCain, infact If Ron Paul was in the lead I would vote for him.

If you can visit the site that would be cool.
We are always Fair and balanced on www.extremepolitics.net

You say, "If Ron Paul was in the lead I would vote for him."

I won't laugh. I could start crowing about what a silly idea that is, but in fact, millions of voters are swayed in that direction, and the tendency to think that way is largely induced on purpose. I'll try to keep this short, and still make something very clear that runs in exactly the opposite direction. I suggest that if you really know the present situation you and your country are in, you will want to make certain that Ron Paul is in the lead before the Republican Party nominates its candidate at its forthcoming convention. That will be a thousand times more exciting than merely adding your vote to the one you think might win. Yes, I'm saying, you can make him the nominee, and if that happens, he will wipe out whatever candidate the Democrats offer. But we've got to go deep. You may have heard of, or seen, the movies available on Google at the following links. Check them out thoroughly. I think they present an irrefutable case for ending inflation before it ends your country, your property, and your Liberty.

AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME

FIAT EMPIRE
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6015291679758430958

This is just a start. There is a whole lot more to consider, including the political works of Aaron Russo (America: Freedom to Fascism), Andrew Napolitano. and Jerome Corsi (The Late Great USA). But for now, let's cut to the chase, and you can then follow through on your own, and if I am wrong, please show me the evidence.

Here goes. Inflation is Tyranny. It is unlawful. It is unconstitutional. It kills whole nations, and it is killing yours and mine. The Founders insisted on substance-based currency precisely to prevent this killing of our nation. Inflation never stops until the value of the token piece of currency is actually less than the value it portrays. I saw a picture of a lady in Germany stuffing paper money into her heating stove because it was cheaper to burn it than to burn the firewood it could buy.

When that happens, and you have to use another currency, such as the "amero" unit proposed for the North American Union that commercially merges Canada, Mexico, and the United States, my friend, you are in another country, and all your unalienable rights are gone. You will then be a slave of your new corporate masters, with no choice but to join them in total Tyranny, or be rightless and poor. Ultimately, they can put you through a meat grinder if they like, and no court will stop them. Of course, it will be more profitable for them to sell your fresh body parts to medicine for big bucks. If you were in China today, and were to try to enforce the rights you have here under the Constitution, your fresh vital organs could be removed while your dead body rides a bus headed for the airport, from which they will be shipped to the highest paying bidder. That's today. I saw a photo of the bus.

All the other candidates are pro-inflation, because it provides mega-bucks for them to grab and look good and be powerful in the upper stories of the castle of Tyranny. Ron Paul, or any other genuine Constitutionalist, will take us the other way, in which We The People rule our own nation, and can again become rich and peaceful and generous.

Why has Ron Paul been obscured to the degree that he gets low ratings? Because the Tyrants own the "news" media and shape what you can know. Carroll Quigley details the process over the decades in his book, Tragedy and Hope. Check out how J. P. Morgan was able to kick back and relax, knowing that he controlled the entire domains of both Republicans and Democrats. You can download that whole book and word search "political parties" and read all about it.

You and I can put Ron Paul in office because the present "New World Order" descendants of the Morgan affair do not yet control the Internet. Just for these very words you and I share, if in China, we would most definitely lose everything, and probably get our organs sold. Not so here yet. Freedom of choice! Use it or lose it! This is an emergency that transcends party politics.

Ready to win? Any questions? Can you show me proof from evidence that I am wrong?

My name is Russell Hunt, 38,I live in springfield Illinois.I have been a healthcare worker in the winter, construction in the warm season.
I have sat on my ass for the last 20 yrs because noone was worth voting for in my eyes. Now that we have a true patriot to stand as our champion, I'll be damned if Dr Paul loses because of election fraud without me doing everything in my abilities to expose or stop it. Check out youtube, search election fraud and tell me why nothing has been done YET.I have wrote to DOJ,off. office the AG,every politician that congress.org/ would permit, every major media network, and nothing. How long are we going to tolerate this?

Well, I guess I should introduce myself, too. I've been loathe to do it because I'm hyperparanoid, but I'll go ahead anyway.

I'm a 30 something stay at home mom of 3. I live in VT. I have always been interested in politics. I have always been inclined toward conspiracy "theories." I like a challenge. I began a new study of the Book of Revelation this past fall and I also began reading The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin around the same time. I was driving in NH one day and I saw a hand-stenciled sign that read "Ron Paul 08." The name looked vaguely familiar, then I noticed there was a blurb on the back of Creature from the same Ron Paul. I googled his name and have been a Paultard ever since. I became a precinct leader in January and got involved with the meetups here.

I have experience living off the grid in a semi-remote cabin in the mountains. I know all of the plants that grow there and their uses. I'm an avid organic gardener. Now that I live in a real house I have hobbies which do not reflect my inner hippie. My favorite TV show is LOST and I spend inordinate amounts of time on this machine in front of me now. I like puzzles and word games and play a lot of Scrabulous. I oftentimes leave this forum in an open window on my computer while I write editorials which may or may not be published. I like to build houses out of legos but I never seem to have enough roof pieces.

I'm new to the RonPaulforums

but not new to the Ron Paul campaign.
I have been campaigning for Ron Paul here in Nebraska.
Myself and another lady have been going around the state doing gun shows for Ron Paul. Which is a great venue for getting the message out !!
And also makes for some very interesting conversations. :)

I gave the speech on behalf of Ron Paul at the Lincoln GOP straw poll dinner and a caucus down in Kansas. I really felt out of my league but it was a rush and I would do it again in a heart beat !

My background..I'm a life long conservative republican.
Married with 2 grown children..both Ron Paul supporters by the way.
I home schooled my boys so they would grow up independent thinkers
and they are now reaping the benefits.

We have been aware of the agenda for our country for along
time and it is pretty scary now seeing some of it come to pass.

lots of questions...

Hi, I'm Tiffany from Brattleboro, VT. I'm 30. Ron Paul is the man. He's the only one I trust. I do have lots of questions, however, which I will ask in another forum.

So far, to support Ron Paul, I hit the street today for the April 15 Operation Stop Thief, and I've been writing names of websites and "Ron Paul 2008" etc, on paper money to get the message in "circulation."

Some things I love: surfing the net, watching RP on YouTube, cats, reading in bed, big band, documentaries, God (that last one is a work in progress!)

Remeber the first one is kind of rough . We have gotten better as we go. Many of us are first timers in doing this Presidential for anyone . We are a die hard constitutional Republican and Ron Paul is our man. We hang out at the our local GOP to learn what and who are local people are that are running. We will be putting people in the next local office. If nothing else that is where we all should begin to get the bad government out... So get involved and get good people in ... We love you Dr. Paul...

I'm all the way from Australia here. I hadn't really heard of Ron Paul till late last year. I decided to review some of his interviews and the like, and greatly admired this mans character, intelligence and certainty. I hope Ron Paul helps America wake up to what is really going on over there.

Best Wishes Ron Paul... :)

Best Wishes to all,
That Guy From Australia

Welcome to the forums! :)
It has been an enlightening, educational, inspiring place to be for me.

We've got several very active voices from Australia and New Zealand. Make me jealous. I want to save my pennies and come ride the Indian-Pacific Express! Welcome. As fellow former tea-drinking outcasts made good, I feel our nations are basically sisters and we have much in common. Like the Mustang, for example (Ford Falcon to you). Hope the Ron Paul message finds as much traction there as here. But that, of course, is up to you. Good to have you here, mate!

My name is Judy

I live in N Central Florida. I got turned on to Ron Paul August of last year. I can't get enough of the truth in his message and the message of other liberty minded people.

Had to puke today listening to the Bush address, he kept saying liberty. We don't agree on the definition of liberty.

I network in my community, I blog, bump, digg etc.

I am working on understanding the rules of the state, state law and the rules of the convention. I also want to find out if it is possible to "write in" at the primary.

I have tried to connect to other RPers in this area, but can't locate to many.

I am serious about this election, but also enjoy joking on the idiots who leave themselves wide open.

I am 19 yrs married with one son still at home. I have 3 Golden Retrievers and love the outdoors.

Welcome, Judy. I do remember seeing a post where some smart individual or another here listed the states where write-ins are not allowed. I don't think Florida was on it, but many states require candidates be registered before write-in votes for that candidate are counted. There's a thread in the Florida section about the Ocala group--don't know how close you are to them. Keep your eyes open around here and we'll give you plenty of anti-idiot ammo. Welcome!

Hi , my name is Jakki and I live in N.O. I have been around for years waiting for G.W.Bush to leave office. I am very concerned about the state the country is in, and the lack of relations we have around the globe. I am concerned over the lack of liberty, the blatant disregard of our constitution, and civil and human rights that have been trampled on.
God save America!
