Introduce yourself! Who, What, Where, Why!

I guess I'm late to the party

I'm from New York. I donated several hundred dollars to the campaign as part of the money bombs last year, and Ron Paul was the first person I’ve voted for in a primary. Initially, I was attracted to Paul’s positions on foreign policy and civil liberties. I’ve also become receptive to his positions on eliminating the income tax, the Federal Reserve, and NAFTA. I’ve never considered myself a libertarian, as I’m not in favor of open borders. I’ve been reading this forum since late last year. I registered a couple months ago, but never got around to posting.

Hi all, I'm from Va Beach and have been supporting Ron Paul since last Sept or so after seeing him speak in the debates. Since then I've learned a great deal 'oustide of what the MSM is reporting ... we must stand up for our constitutional freedoms as they are dwindling away. I have participated on many money bombs and became a delegate for our district though unfortunately they trampled all over us @ the local convention. State convention is end of this month...hopefully the other districts are having more succes. I attened the 4/15 rally and will definitely be at the July march...anything I can do to support this great and honest man, I will!!!

Message Board Ineptitude

I have Message Board Ineptitude. I am not concerned, I know that pfiz-permaneteli -Liily will have a pill for it (MBI), soon.
Ron Paul, the man has been here, he is not going anywhere.
The most important thing (IMO), is to pay close attention to his message, and continue to blow-up this support.
A grass-roots campaign like this has never been seen. And, the steadfast support means that there are 15-20% of this country who put NO stock in the media or what we are force fed!
Apparently, according to the Bristoll-Meyers test, we are among the 'Masterminds' and the top 1-3% of this country (where Intelligence is concerned).
Then, others are intuitive and not fooled by liars.
We have a choice; we avoid seperation, agreeing that these ideas should circumvent any one policy issue that mass-media will soon use to try to divide us, or, we become, literally, slaves to people who are without tact, concern, and deserve my vote as much as any mass murdering, dope-pushing, bureacrat who would assume I am stupid enought to not think critically or be a slave to marketing campaigns that try heartlessly to catch me up in pretty music, flying flags, and a web of lies.

Well put & welcome!

Ron Paul/Mary Ruwart Supporter

Hello fellow defenders of freedom,

My name is Thomas Hill. I am a precinct leader for Ron here in N.C.. I have been an avid RP fan since the early 1990's. I am also active in my RP Meet UP in Concord, N.C.

I serve as Aide De Camp for the Mary Ruwart For President Campaign. It is an honor to support my two biggest heroes this election season. They were the ones that introduced me to the libertarian philosophy.

Dr. Mary Ruwart is a personal friend of Dr. Paul's. Ron reviewed her book, Healing Our World. He also wrote a letter to Bush in 2002, nominating Dr. Ruwart to head the FDA. Dr. Ruwart has been working with Ron since 1988, when he was the Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate. She has helped with every campaign Ron has ran since then, including this year. Her husband, Raymond Carr is a precinct leader for Ron in Texas. Her support for Ron Paul was the reason she jumped in the LP race so late.

Supporting both Dr. Paul and Dr. Ruwart is a dream come true. It is like having your cake and eating it too.

Welcome all. Well put, one and all. And dupedbydopes, I especially like your handle!

You'll find a "new posts" feature right under the presidential seal in the banner. Pay attention to the subforums and it will help you determine if some news you found and want to share is already posted here. Enjoy!

Hola!

Hi all,

I'm a young guy but a long-time reader, fan, and advocate of Ron Paul. Back in 2000 I was in the beginnings of my career in Silicon Valley and was part of the fallout from the dot-com bubble collapse (from which we've yet to recover.) This is when I first started learning about The Fed and began reading LewRockwell.com everyday.

Today I'm proud to call myself a Libertarian/Anarcho-Capitalist and continue my "real education" everyday. I was thrilled when I heard Ron was running for POTUS...and I'm a proud supporter.

Delegate revolt! ;)

Nice to meet y'awl!

Welscome, Tsar! Nice to meet you too. Welcome aboard!

Hello from So California

Just a quick hello from out west. I read "The Revolution" and felt as tho someone was finally putting to words what I have been feeling for many years now.
I truly feel our two party system is broke, and neither party represents the people anymore.
We need change from within the two parties, and from outside. I am all for a third party with the name Constitutionals as the party name, along with people who are working within the other two parties to bring about the change this Country so desperately needs.
Moreover, we need to bring people to the understanding of what Ron Paul is saying, I don't think it will be a hard sell. People know things are wrong, they just need to hear and believe we have someone we can trust to do what they say.

Anyway, enough of my rant, looking forward to being part of the process of change.

Looking for somewhere to turn...

I'm from TX17 and am familiar to an extent with Ron Paul. Because I am not satisfied that the current crop of candidates the media has selected for us, I am looking for other options. As such, I have alot to learn about Ron Paul. I am discerning, intelligent, and reasonable and I'm willing to listen and to learn more about Dr. Paul.

I read elsewhere while lurking here the idea of Dr. Paul running for governor of Texas if his presidential aspirations fall short. I think this is a great idea. I've supported Kinky but think Dr. Paul would have a better chance in this state and could defeat Rick Perry.

Anyway, I have alot to learn about Dr. Paul and I intend to go to DC for the march. I could really use some help with expenses or a ride to the event but I'm going regardless, even if I have to hitchhike! =)

I love the way this thread is growing. Welcome all! And don't let some of our more abrasive members put you off, and don't be afraid to ask questions. This is a place of free discussion among the discontent! Glad to have you.

Greetings, I'm from Chandler, Arizona. I'm 18 years old and a former conservative/neo-con who was duped into supporting Bush for both his 2000 and 2004 campaigns. I became a Libertarian in early 2006 after a personal incident led me to harbor a huge distrust of authority. I've been supporting Ron Paul since late July of 2007. I've converted a couple of friends and relatives into supporters by having them watch "America: Freedom To Fascism" and "The Energy Non-Crisis". donated $100 on November 5th and I also donated $80 to Murray Sabrin. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help the campaign out!

Hi, I want to thank everyone who supported me in getting to the Hawaii Convention. This site is a little confusing to me right now, There is alot that happened there, good and bad, when I get more familiar with this site I'll tell what I saw etc... God bless you all Ty Schor

I've stayed out of this thread until now so...

My name is Ben, I'm 18 and live in Michigan (L.P.). I'm registered GOP and a card-carrying member of the LP. I'm an atheist "of the worst kind", and believe myself to be the God of All Truths. Benefits from believing that include that I'm never wrong and that everything is absolute, an excellent reason to be arrogant as I'm assuming is observed in almost all of my posts. I have 3 cats and live in my mother's basement ;). I go to public schools and am inept at all forms of mathematics. I intend to go to a local university that offers a degree in teaching and observation/student teaching at the school I'm currently attending where I intend to replace my old American History/ America At War teacher who is driving a rusty 1995 Astro Van with a plate reading "Image of Excellence" in the front.

Here's where it all goes down.... (Wonder where the forum handle derives from?):

ME!

Hello everybody! My name is Dennis Rothacker and I live in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I've been active with Dr. Paul's campaign now for just over a year and it has led into pursuing a career in politics. I'm currently a Committeeman in the Broward County Republican Executive Committee and was fortunate enough to get chosen as an Alternate to the National Convention in Minneapolis. I guess that's probably enough for now, as I like to keep introductions and goodbyes shoert and sweet. But please feel free to hit me up anytime. Also, check out my websites:
