Welcome Sky!
straightedge and for the legalization of drugs!
Nice. I am the same way. I really am anti-alcohol and I think the 21 age is absolutely ridiculous.also straightedge and for the legalization of drugs!
Hi all, I am brand new to the forum and I hope to use it frequently as I try to figure out what the best way is for me to help Ron Paul get elected. I'm in my 20s and work as a contractor down in Florida... I work on a government contract and can attest with first-hand experience that there are a large number of useless government programs which we would be better off without. I hope to learn from everyone here, and if there is any knowledge or assistance that I can provide, please let me know.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for about a month now as I just discovered this forum as a great place to get updates on Paul. I'm a recovering McCain supporter from 08 (I know, I'm not proud of it). I began leaning libertarian ever since the NJ governor primary in which I supported Lonegan. I'm from NJ, and I'd be interested in doing anything I can to help Ron win here and in other primaries nationally. I'm currently interning at a law office and planning on attending law school next year (constitutional law classes got me pumped in college).
Hello everyone! I'm 42 years old, live in the Bentonville, AR area, an honorably-discharged vet of the USAF, computer-systems analyst by trade, and a huge Ron Paul supporter. Currently I'm the Benton County organizer for the upcoming Sign Bomb to be held in every county in the USA on 10-10-11.
If you know of anyone who wants to get involved in the Sign Bomb and lives in Benton County, Arkansas please contact me:

Hello all! I'm in my mid-twenties and I converted to Ron Paul roughly after he got the Dec 16 money bomb. After that I was on you tube for every moment of free time watching Paul interviews, fan movies, speeches. What really got me hooked was the "Ron Paul Rising" vid. I was really impressed with the fans (money bombs, FOX polls, videos, overall love) so I knew he was worth looking at. I already knew about Paul from "The Truth and Lies of 9/11" DVD made in late 2001. He talked about voting against the Patriot Act. I thought that was awesome but I assumed there was some kind of political motivation behind his decision. By 2008 I was convinced that he wasn't ordinary. So that's that. BTW why am I introducing myself in a welcome thread, within a welcome sub-forum, within another welcome sub-forum? I guess this is for the REALLY new people!
Hi I am 47, I was a concrete man building 2 new homes a day. I have lost my house and family, everything including my faith. I haven't much left to lose but my freedom and my life and the number of people just like me are growing everyday.
Hi everyone my name is Kurt. I hail from Taxachusetts and am a relatively new Ron Paul supporter. I was first introduced to Dr. Paul at a mock debate in high school for the 08 Presidential elections. I vividly recall how there were students on stage pretending to be McCain, Obama, Bob Barr, Ron Paul and someone else and when the issue of Marijuana came up the candidates gave their expected answers. McCain called for it to be illegal still, Obama as a "maybe" for medicinal purposes and the little freshman representing Ron Paul yelled out that he wasn't going to decriminalize marijuana but make it legal. I have never heard a louder applause ever in the auditorium before as a student. As a pot smoker, I naturally laughed and applauded.
Then I started to read more about Ron Paul following the election. I have become fascinated with his endorsement of Austrian economics and his explanation for why the government was the entity that landed us in the economic turmoil, not the free market. My foreign policy attitude did a 180. Coming from a conservative family which had been unwittingly neo-conned, I took a terrorism class in Senior year which was validating everything Ron Paul argued about why our occupation and policy in the ME has fueled insurgency. Up and down the list on the issues I found it extremely hard to believe. His calls for personal liberty and self-responsibility enthralled me. I have never come to respect and love (yep) a public figure more than Dr. Paul! I'm turning my dad away from the mainstream republican candidates and to one who he already deeply respects.
I am currently a Junior in college right now, working the summer doing landscaping but I look to do work for Dr. Paul's campaign and contribute as much as I possibly can.
