Hi!

We are Don and Anne from LaGrange Ky. Mid 30's and have been together since High School. We have also lived a few years in Las Vegas and Greenville, SC, and grew up in Syracuse, NY.

Anne is a massage therapist and Don is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Always been GOP, but have lost confidence in our party of late. We hope to see a return to the core values of our founders.

Our two childern, Hannah(7) and Chloe(5) share an excitement with us when it comes to Dr. Paul.

We are lovers of the constitution and our inaliable rights granted to us from our creator.

We have this love affair with his candidacy due to the ever growing influence and negative impact that we see the Federal government is exerting on our lives.

We hate the illegal and immoral income tax especially!

Hi I'm Becca,
I currently live in California, but I've also lived in Ohio, Florida, Colorado, and NY. I'm a programmer and artist in the computer graphics industry. I'm the daughter of fairly extreme liberals. In the first election that I was eligible to vote in, I voted for Ralph Nadar. I liked his anti-corporatist leanings and his support of protecting the environment. I am not ashamed to say I voted for him, because I agreed with his intent. I don't however agree with alot of his tactics, or with the green party in general. So therefore in the next election I sought out Harry Browne. This was the first candidate I found whose economical conservatism didn't conflict with my socially liberal viewpoint. I was so dissapointed when I saw how easily he was swept under the rug by the MSM, that I vowed at that point not to participate in our broken 2 party system. I AM ashamed to say that I haven't voted for the last few elections. Enter Ron Paul...finally I've found a candidate whose viewpoint I agree with 90%. And the other 10%? Well I actually trust him to let those issues be worked out on the local level. I believe he will be our next President, and I'm going to do what I can to help that happen.

Go Ron Paul

Hi my name is Corey and I live in Houston, Texas. Yes, I am 14 years old and still too young for much but I am already interested in politics. I believe in about 99% of Paul's views and hope that he is our next President. :D

Hey Corey, its fantastic that you're interested in politics at 14. How did you hear about Ron Paul, anyway?

Now get to work on converting those parents. ;)

Edit: And I'm in Houston too.

I heard about Ron while watching the debates and I am on the internet all the time so I looked him up. I already converted my grandma. My mom and my dad aren't so willing to listen to me.

And oh yeah, my name is Kyle and I am a 26 year old Helpdesk technical support guy for an insurance company in Houston, Texas. I first learned about Ron Paul about 6 years ago in libertarian circles while supporting Libertarian Party candidates and I've been sending him money ever since.

My name's Derek, and I found this forum through Facebook, where I'm a member of the 14,500 strong "Congressman Ron Paul for President 2008" group. I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to join.

I'm a 28 year old professional hardcore punk/progressive/metal musician in a full-time touring band. i come from a political family(southern democrat, my great grandfather and uncle were state senators and my grandmother was the regional solicitor for the labor dept). I dropped out of college right before law school my senior year after reading leo strauss and being unable to convince the people around me that the leaders of the republican party were socialists who followed this twisted machiavellian rhetoric.

i use my influence in the underground punk/hardcore culture to be a voice to the ideas that i believe in, which happen to have always been free trade and total civil liberty. This is not in step with most people in that community, as the more progressive ones are more "green party" types, and i have been through a political theory education, and i know that socialism does not encourage productivity and therefor lowers the quality of living for everyone below an acceptable standard. Free Trade has always been an economic ideal that i felt would actually do the things the people with big hearts who want to advocate for the poor would like to see done, where socialism cannot.

i have used my influence recently to promote dr paul in radio interviews, as i feel hes the only realistic candidate who can capture public opinion with these kinds of views.

I'm proud of what you guys have been doing to help make a change, it's remarkable because prior to this we'd become a nation of whiners instead of doers, of victims instead of leaders.

might as well turn it around! glad to help in the fight however i can.

aahaaha, i guess im late getting here josh, i am Phillip from the Houston RP meetup, and the admin at restore the republic. nice to meet everyone, GO DR. NO!!!!111!!!

Very nice to meet you all see ya in the meetups and at the polls

Hey there!

Name is George, I live in Riverside California. Got tunred onto Ron Paul thru You tube and haven't looked back. I currently work in the Civil Engineering industry as a business developer. I have a lot of contacts here in the Catholic Church, Filipino community and Real Estate community.

Just joined the meetup...good group...so I'm working on putting some signs together with my family to hopefully coordinate some exposure for Ron out here.

Your forum is giving me some great ideas!

Greetings from The Land of The Tejas. In November, with The Good Lord's help, I will reach my seventy-second year on this little spinning globe we call Earth. I was born during the middle of the Great Depression in '35. I see our country headed for another one that will make that one seem like a picnic. I was raised in a DIM state, in one of the most DIM areas, by DIM parents and grandparents. Corruption in Texas, a single party state was rampant in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. I had the very distinct prvilege of voting for Barry Goldwater. We were thumped so badly I doubted the PUBS would ever recover. But it was the start of a movement that, sadly, has foundered until Dr Paul or Dr No came on the scene.

I have seen our Nation travel from being the home of The Greatest Generation to being surely and slowly pushed over the precipice into socialism. Ron Paul may just be the Last Great Hope for America.

I am also a pragmatist and recognise that Ron Paul will have a very tough time becoming President. Still, he will get my vote, even as a write in. I decided after the last screwup of the PUBS, namely George W Bush, I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils as it is still a vote for evil.

Ron Paul pretty well espouses my political philosophy.

My name is Justin Mckay. I am a independant from Washington State. I am concerned about how the Constitution is not being obeyed and protected. I have been a Ron Paul supporter since the 90's. I spent eight years in the U.S Army. I spent two years in Germany wondering how I was supposed to best protect and defend the Constitution. I am fully prepared to give Ron Paul all I have got.
