INDIANA RESULTS THREAD

Pretty much.

The Santorum and Gingrich votes are troubling; WTF is wrong with people?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, people are sleeping, it will be okay.........We have our goal, no more Lugar, oh, president? uhhh.....the Tea Party said.....but I'm conservitive, but...

The PTB are very good.....the MSM does their job, well, they do good for what they do, really they do. They are a face and get paid pretty good to read the line.
I've always understood that if you want to control the world, just dangle carrots in front of those that don't care for anyone but #1.

What we need, are some phsyc students that are good that watch out for the "moves" and the "carrots".....we can't change the media, but this Lugar thing was good, they gave him up....I'm going to look at the numbers for turnout compared to previous years.

Edit... Tyler_Durden already did, 220k more

Ok, somebody help me out here. Roughly 220k more voters turned out in Indiana today than in 2008, even though the meme is that Romney is the "presumptive nominee"?

Why would 84k+ show up to cast a vote for Santorum?

Indiana

didn't it used to be a caucus?

No, it was a primary in 2008 too.I lost my bid to be a delegate that time around. I was in a much more populated district and was just getting into this whole RP, delegate, freedom thing.

That's what I was thinking.
Well, they played the right "moves" and "carrots" (see posts above). Any good students of human thought? I have some ideas, but I need a lot of help with them, a lot.

There wasn't a democrat running against Obama this time around. In 2008, Hillary and Obama were still in a deadheat so a lot of repubs and indies voted in the democrat primary (open primary state and all). Plus, McCain already had the nomination clinched so a lot of people just didn't show up.

No, it was a primary in 2008.
