INDIANA RESULTS THREAD

Where are you seeing live results on delegate elections, and how do we know who might be Paul supporters?

We know who the RP supporters are, now who were elected as delegates.
ghengis86, how did you find out?

sorry, guys; i was being a little misleading to lighten the mood.

nobody voted for delegates in my district. there were three spots and three people filled out the can-8 form for delegate, me being one of them. we were all uncontested, so we all made it. I knew the day after the filing deadline.

My apologies, there's no live delegate count to be had. only people like me who knew before hand they were in.

(i was sick of that vote-flipping derail too. fight it out on that thread, not the hoosier results thread!!)

post script: i may be slightly under the influence

The disparity of voters between Presidential candidates and Senate candidates seems staggering...

Live results coming in now....

I'm a delegate, bitchez!!!

Oh, and that fuck of a senator Lugar is gone too. Murdock is slightly less evil, and time will tell how big a douche he turns out to be, but at least for now it's an improvement.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/111703.html

and how many people didn't choose the presumptive nominee?

eh, all in all, things could be worse!

Congratulations on being a delegate Ghengis.

So watching the washington post election results today I noticed not one county went to Ron Paul. Is this really true? The entire state favors Romney? Not a few counties that may go Ron or other candidate?

I wish we could see a public counting like in Nevada. I just can't believe this is so uniform. Some counties must have a different opinion. Even if only one or two. This is too uniform.

As of now, there is not a single county in WV, IN or NC in which Romney has under 57%

Only exception: Madison in NC. Here Romney has 49%, Paul 26%, Santo 12%, Grinch 8% Which is also the best Paul result today. But only 53% of this county is reporting yet.

So, the media is doing a good job.

Here's what I found out, and it's sick.

A candidate for state senate called me a couple days ago for my support. I'm a PC here.

I wanted to know his platform, but it was all local so I asked him what he thought about the amendments to the NDAA or what he thought about Ron Paul.

He did not know that Ron Paul was still in the race, thought only Romney was still running. AND did not know what I was refering to by the NDAA, what's that.

I was floored and gave him enough to look these up, Ron Paul vs Krugman and NDAA. I told him about states doing nullification of NDAA, and that competing currencies could help offset a fed collapse, etc.....

Wha?

thank you for becoming a delegate, and it is great to know we have one already!

Ron Paul did NO advertising in Indiana. He did not make any appearances. Nor did anyone from his campaign.

The media blacked him out.

Many people don't know Ron Paul is still running. Many churches in Indiana teach that protecting Israel is our Christian duty. Fox News is the most popular news station in our state and Bill O'Reilly says Ron Paul won't protect Israel and is dangerous about Iran which exists to nuke us.

Plus the old guard in many key areas knows about the delegate plan and took steps to protect those areas. Before they WOULD have been wide open, this year, there were more people WANTING to be delegates in key areas than delegate positions available.

I think the grassroots people that DID go out and make the effort and do the work deserve TONS OF KUDOS.

Thanks to Melissa. I KNOW she has been working like a dog as have ALL of the organizers.

Hear, hear! Thank you Melissa and all of those running for delegates!

Ok, somebody help me out here. Roughly 220k more voters turned out in Indiana today than in 2008, even though the meme is that Romney is the "presumptive nominee"?

Why would 84k+ show up to cast a vote for Santorum?

Dick Lugar. Voted him out. The presidential nominee primary was a sideshow.

How would people have critical thinking skills?

The media misleads. They show polls with people that are in second or even FIRST place NOT mentioned when those polls are covered. They show 911 calls that have been edited. You can read a Drudge headline and a CNN headline about the SAME event and even part of the articles about that same event and not realize both are about the SAME thing because the sources SLANT their stories so much.

The Eurozone had been going down for way over a year before NBC Nightly News ever mentioned it. NOT MENTIONING POSSIBLE FINANCIAL COLLAPSE?

We were at war with Iraq for years and I only JUST learned that Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. That came from a BBC documentary and the web and books, NOT from watching Fox OR NBC Nightly News.

Just knowing what is going on can be a lot of work. IMO.

You've got that right.

Many people believe there's an extreemist under their bed also, probably trying to put c4 underwear on them....yearh, I still tune into fox and cnn once in a while to see what the others are getting fed.
