INDIANA RESULTS THREAD

My response to RonRules is that only recently have people begun to have an interest in the election. So those who became enamored of Santo and Grinch had a harder time letting go, while the Cain supporters just moved on to the next neocon.

the others left BECAUSE they were losing support. santorum was a frontrunner but didn't have money, lost key races and was about to go backwards in the delegate count from caucus states where he had no ground game.

Cain, Bachman, Huntsman and Perry were ALL Nationwide leaders in polls. I think they ALL made the cover of Newsweek Magazine.

Bachman, Huntsman and Perry did not do too bad in the votes.

Again your logic is deeply flawed. People abandoned Huntsman, Perry and Bachman for other candidates because there was still a race. Most people think the race is over and those who hate Mitt will just vote for the person they like the most on the ballot. Look at election recults in 2008. Huck got more votes than Ron in NC by far and he was out of the race for awhile.

First of all, I did not see you PARTICIPATE one bit.

Second, we need OVERWHELMING evidence because of people like YOU. One chart is enough, but I have to do 500 because of idiots.

Third, today I worked with a guy in England to edit a final letter that will got to ALL the state election officials.

Again, what have YOU done to help solve this problem?

When I read your first 2 sentences I feel like you called me idiot...If you meant me then you are an ass (if not you are not , but still you dont have NO PLAN! NO CLEAR GOAL SET! NO VISION!)..My father told me when people dont have arguments to defend their point of view they turn to violence verbal and physical.

And regarding what have I done to solve this problem: Read first 3000 posts in original threads. Yes I know what is going on and I know what is it about.

Let me repeat:NO PLAN NO CLEAR GOAL SET NO VISION.

I stopped posting there after I saw that you have No PLAN! NO CLEAR GOAL SET! NO VISION!

"Look back to where you have been, for a clue to where you are going"

If you did that you would notice that you are running in circles. analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct, analyze state, analyze state analyze county, analyze precinct.... OK we get it move forward.

*If you have to respond send me PM lets not derail thread any further.

The poll workers in my district in Indiana are honest.

I know for fact that higher echelons of the Republican National committee were in an uproar over Ron Paul delegates participating in the convention in June and some districts that usually cannot GET people to be delegates and that are ALWAYS uncontested, this year, had an abundance of people running and many of those that would not usually participate in the convention are "old guard" and "safe" party voters--like the county surveyor.

Many, this year, were told at churches and elsewhere NOT to vote for delegates they don't know.

The higher-up people in Indiana were aware of the Ron Paul delegate ploy and in anticipation of a battle at our convention got "trusted" old guard people to run as delegates so that this year there would be CONTESTS in key districts.

BUT, the poll workers are honest and VERY careful in my Indiana district.

In my opinion.

Here's to put things in perspective:
2) Rick Perry suspended his campaign and after that was New Hampshire. Rick got 0.7% of the vote.

Correction: Rick Perry skipped NH and went directly to SC and suspended just before the primary there. He endorsed Newt during his announcement.

I estimate 19 State Convention District delegates out of 57 for Paul in Marion County with 66% of precincts counted.

It derails a thread and drives away sane people. These people are clueless on how much damage they do to Paul reputation. I'm more worried about what they say to people in real life when talking about Paul or politics in general.

Have you taken one hour's worth of trouble to drop by a local university and show one of my charts to a statistics professor?

I and another man from (executive in the CA Democratic party) did a seminar in front of 12 graduate statistics students with the chairman of the dept. present and eagerly participating the whole time. They were impressed and are looking into it. They have all my data.

The chairman would not have allowed me to speak if he thought it flipping was bunk.

Also spoke to 4 Poli-Sci professors, with equal success.

Before you conclude without facts, take to someone that knows a tiny bit of statistics. Report your findings in the vote flipping thread.

In Indiana, last I heard, there is at least ONE district which has openings for DELEGATES and NO RON PAUL TAKERS.

Today, NOBODY but me was at my polling place encouraging people to vote for ANY delegate.

At most poll locations in my district, there was NOBODY what-so-ever encouraging anybody to vote for ANY delegate. And I live in an area that is contested and one of the more important GOP districts.

Our area needed MORE hands on deck.

I don't think it is fair to say Mitt Romney did well in Indiana because cheating occurred. There WASN'T a SINGLE Ron Paul ad run in Indiana. Neither Ron Paul or nobody from his campaign came here.

It WAS fair of the RNC to anticipate in advance that Ron Paul people would be trying to get "in" as delegates and to make sure that key areas were contested this year. And they did. It might HURT our delegate effort.

Anyone who reads my posts knows that I think lots of things are done crookedly and that I think our system needs overhauled.

BUT, I am going to stick up for the poll counting in my district. I KNOW some of them as people. They just wouldn't.

In my opinion.

Can you provide proof that you gave this presentation and that professors of statistics and the head of a department agreed with your findings?

they were NOT nationwide leaders of polls when they dropped out, they dropped out BECAUSE they were no longer national leaders of polls. And Huntsman never was.

That's just poor grassroots management. Grassroots is people getting together and coordinate a effort without the campaign holding their hand. You got to have fire in the belly and a taste in your mouth of wanting something bad enough. That's the problem, there are too many rah rah supporters not willing to work for the end goal.

Here's to put things in perspective:

1) Herman Cain suspended his campaign and after that was Iowa. Herman got 0.04% of the vote.

2) Rick Perry suspended his campaign and after that was New Hampshire. Rick got 0.7% of the vote.

3) Michelle Bachmann suspended her campaign and after that was New Hampshire. Michelle got 0.1% of the vote.
(Can't find a single vote for Bachmann after she pulled out for Minnesota, her home state)

4) John Huntsman suspended his campaign and after that was South Carolina. John got 0.19% of the vote.

5) Rich Santorum suspended his campaign about one month ago (April 10) and now he gets 14% in Indiana and 10% in North Carolina?!!

6) Newt suspended one week ago (May 2, but announced about a week prior). He's getting 7 to 8% tonight.

That's is basically impossible, based on 1), 2), 3) 4).

What were the dates for absentee ballots in ID, NC, WV?

There were still plenty of anti-Romney/non-Pauls in the race then. That proves nothing.

And a good portion of them even think Obama is a Muslim too. So they are holding their noses, voting for Romney and NOT telling anyone.

And I wonder if Romney supporters (few they really are) whine that the Obama Muslim conspiracy crap is hurting Romney. You meet all kinds of people on the internet.

Personally, if someone has a theory, I'd like to hear it. If people want to whine about other peoples' ideas, maybe we need a whiners forum for them. Critical thought only hurts those who dislike critical thinking. We need to encourage critical thought, whatever the subject. Lack of critical thought is one of the reasons people go along with having Romney shoved down their throat by media.

agreed, there were no delegates on my ballot, and I was told to look at a list of rp delegates which I printed and took with me... but nothing... how the heck am I supposed to know what to do.. so there is a large disconnect between people's voices and actions... I've never voted in my life and gave my first vote to ron paul, now I feel it's kind of wasted because other people aren't doing their part, and as a left leaning democrat, I support what ron paul is doing, but I shoulnd't be the one carrying his workload. So yes, a failure of the grassroots is correct

others who said they had voted as Dem before weren't allowed to vote for delegates, they got a different ballot. I wonder if that is improper? Because it is Ron it would hurt, every time.

All Repub ballots were same in my precinct. All in a stack. Just handed to you. Either delegates were already choose, or no one ran. Yet to be determined.

So watching the washington post election results today I noticed not one county went to Ron Paul. Is this really true? The entire state favors Romney? Not a few counties that may go Ron or other candidate?

I wish we could see a public counting like in Nevada. I just can't believe this is so uniform. Some counties must have a different opinion. Even if only one or two. This is too uniform.
