But I can't say the same about some of the "supporters" I've met on this board. The apologist kind that can't accept a little honest criticism about Ron Paul's official campaign.

Calling people trolls or liberals because you disagree with them is childish. Telling them they should vote for Obama or Giuliani instead is counterproductive. Ignoring the problems with Ron Paul's campaign doesn't help Ron Paul.

Your concerns were addressed and shown to be totally overblown. You just ignored it and kept on spamming the board with multiple threads about the same pointless issue, long after everyone else who was initially concerned got over it and moved on.

Well, I don't think of registering as a Republican to vote for Ron as "choosing a label"; I view it as a practical step toward securing the nomination.

It's good that you're aware of the primary requirements in your state. I do suggest that you look into the delegate selection process for your state and see how you can help there.

What we need in Washington is for people to become Precinct Officers. The official deadline was December 14th, but they have been desperate for PCOs, and so there may be a way to still get in at this point. That would involve contacting the Party officials for your county. You can find the contact info here:

Let's all realize that there is a wide range of opinions among the people who support Ron Paul. Debating and explaining why you believe you are right is fine and should be done. Beating someone over the head with your views only makes people angry at you or repulsed by you.

It takes time for people to see something in a new way. I would guess that all of us a wrong about something.

It is better to convince someone than to prove he is wrong.

Look at the way Ron Paul discusses things with people. His views are often far from what is considered mainstream, but he is able to get people to consider them, where others would not be able to convince anyone.

There is a lot of passion, which means a lot of heat. This isn't a sport for those with thin skins (nor, ideally, those with hair-trigger mouths).

Personally, I sorta like the idea of 1) shutting down entry from places we've been antagonizing for decades 2) stop antagonizing them 3) wait for tempers to settle down and 4) show that this is a real change and not a feint then 4) opening up rational travel again.

Now, my thoughts on this aren't particularly researched, so they may not be perfect, and there may be people who are unfairly harmed by this, but it has the advantage of not involving bombing or subsidizing anyone, so the harm would seem to me to be on a much smaller scale than our current track, and therefore an improvement.
