IF this didn't change your view on America I don't know what will

Lol that is so true. But you forgot...

5) When the cries of conspiracy die down, people say don't worry we still got the most delegates. There's gonna be a brokered convention

Brokered convention comes up some of the time, but it's not necessarily a knee jerk reaction.

Right now, I think we're at the stage where the chances of a brokered convention are "nearly zero" but we still "fight on ... for our ideas"

You're confused. You're comparing statewide results with results for one county.

But that is NOT what they reported to begin with. They added the Spokane LATER...

Seems a LITTLE odd, no?

Well, I guess it wouldn't unless you were aware of the publications "usual habits":

If you look at these links (1 - 2 - 3) you will see that this site does not normally apply local coverage ambiguously at all. In fact, they almost name the damned sreet that they are reporting on...

Again, seems a LITTLE odd...

They give results for
1) Republican
2) Democratic
and
3) Statewide

1) and 2) were their own, local/regional reporting
3) was quoting the Associated Press.

I have no idea exactly what you're talking about, except that this local paper
is not particularly well written.

You're looking at what you have up there, that photo, that screen capture and we're supposed to think that those "republican caucus results" actually
aren't local results at all. No, you think we should think, those are the real statewide results, but they were too good for Ron Paul. So, this paper said "oh
shit, we are going to have to cover up these real statewide results somehow,
maybe by calling them Spokane results"

You think that's what happened, don't you?

Listen, there were 3 bolded categories
Republican Caucus Results
Democratic Caucus Results
Statewide Caucus Results

Why would they have different categories for Republican Caucus Results and Statewide Caucus Results if they were supposed to be the same?

Did you graduate from High School?

Cambridge University, England for your information...

Did you graduate from downright unnecessary rudeness school?

WTF? I just pointed out that there had been significant changes during the timeline last night and that people could be forgiven for getting a "skewed view" of what was happening.

I have just about had enough of the pointless fucking self-importance of some of the people on these boards lately.

Don't reply...Won't be returning for a while.

I would base it on Paul being in the lead with 46% and McCain at 16% with about 40ish% reported, then half an hour later McCain is 1st, and all three are in the 20%s.

Paul never had 46% on the GOP website. You are confusing two sources. This is why people think there are conspiracies when most of the time there is not one.

that first showing was an error on the spokane tv station covering the event. Those numbers where for the spokane greater area. (Although it is the second largest city in Washington.)

there sure have been a lot of 'mistakes' this election

I came here late last night and read some post also that said Dr. Paul was at 46% with 60% reporting. I too was suspicious until it was explained that those were early result that only included one county.
