Has anyone checked Texas law on this? This will be a major determining factor in any decision as to whether to take the Presidential campaign third party if Ron doesn't win the GOP nomination.
Here's the Texas election code. Do we have any election lawyers on the forum?

Hi Walt,
I can see why one might jump to that conclusion but Berin has been a friend of mine for nine years, we met at a week-long Austrian economics seminar at the Mises Institute, he's not only a delegate candidate for DC but on the short list of those who helped me put the slate together, and he's started groups, etc., supporting Dr. Paul (his LinkedIn page, etc.).
In short, he's good people.![]()
well if he has been a close friend then you should of told him that rp was not going to run a 3rd party......i guess either you didn't or he doesnt believe your words.......
Even if Ron Paul does not win the Republican nomination he should not run as an independent. He will be the most popular member of Congress and can use that to better advantage than a doomed third-party effort.
