This is a prime example of crap we get from our Michigan State Campaign Committee. It's all about what grassroots needs to do and that everything is up to us, however, no where does it state what THEY have planned! No mention of the upcoming "Defending the American Dream" conference that will be taking place in Livonia, Mi on Jan 12! Two days before the Michigan Primary! Fortunately, grassroots are already on it and will be hanging signs and lining up on every expressway enroute to this conference including the conference itself. Speakers at the conference are: Ron Paul, McCain, Guiliani, Romney, Thompson, and Huckabee!

No where did they mention when we will start seeing some TV ads? Nothing. Just Iowa was a bummer and our fate is up to you!
January 4, 2008
As you're watching the Iowa returns, we know you must be experiencing the same range of emotions we are. Disappointment, frustration-but also hope. Hope, because we know that over 10,000 Michiganders have volunteered to spread Dr. Paul's message of freedom, peace, and prosperity statewide . Frustration, because we learned 10,000 is not enough, as Dr. Paul lost in Iowa (a population of just over 1 million) with just under 12,000 caucus-goers. Hope, because you know, as we do, that Michigan is winnable.
Again-Michigan is winnable. We are 11 days away from the primary, and on the surface, the numbers seem alarming. If in 11 days, we still have the same 10,000 supporters, we will not win. If in 11 days, we double our support to 20,000, we will not win. Even if we multiply our support by 10, to 100,000, we will not win.
It will take 500,000 votes to win Michigan for Ron Paul.
But do not be discouraged. This amounts to 50 voters for each of you-and we can do this.
How many people do you interact with in each day?
How many opportunities to spread the name and message of Dr. Paul do you have every day?
For your comparison, there are 100 slim jims in every pack. Many of you have been canvassing and getting out multiple packs each day. We have thousands of packs of them coming in, so everyone needs to do their part to grab a package of literature and get them out in their communities. We need to knock on doors, and really start spreading the word in our neighborhoods. We need to get everyone in contact with your county coordinators, and start signing up as precinct captains, taking responsibility for getting out the vote in your immediate communities. We need to work together, or we will fall apart.
We have one shot to win, and 11 days in which to make it happen. We CAN do this. You CAN help us achieve victory on January 15.
The fate of Michigan is in your hands. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for freedom, peace, and prosperity; Ron Paul is truly "Hope for America." Please join our efforts to elect the only presidential candidate who can revive Michigan's economy, bring our troops home, and restore our civil liberties. How many voters can YOU reach?
11 Days Until Victory,
