I hope you change your mind. We need to shake up the GOP, and voting for their anointed is not going to help that effort much. The way things are going, they may conclude that they are not far left enough.

This. I've got exactly one yard sign up for a Dem (well away from the signs for our liberty Republicans) and am about to emblazon "Fire 'Bailout' Sullivan" across the top. However, in most areas firing 'Bailout' Whomever means getting a Republican into office. I think those media types who are predicting a Democratic sweep of both houses and the executive are dreaming.

And the people who get into office because the incumbent didn't listen to us will have a mandate, too. At least a few are bound to remember that.

post #3 is no substance... It is an opinion which I disagree with... I am a Ron Paul supporter and mccain voter for reasons....

I continue to support RP, C4L and the principles. I will continue to push these ideas and hopefully be able to grow the movement over the next few years to make it where we CAN make a difference.. we have a good start.

No I am not a single issue voter ... I think R vs W was not good law... It should be left with the states.

Ah. Were it not for the recent D.C. decision, I'd be very skeptical, but you seem to have a point here.

We have one party that pays lip service (at least) to the Second and Tenth Amendments, and another that pays lip service (at least) to the other eight. Great. No wonder they've managed to keep us so divided that we can't even vote for people who might actually represent us...

I agree... it really is sad but it actually does comes down to "lesser of two evils" which I think has been so meligned on these forums (because of RP group think).

There should be some serious consideration (especially in the swing states) for RP people to hold their nose and vote mccain.

This is one area i disagree with RP. At least for THIS election.
