I don't like Religion in political parties

You're missing the point. Certain rights are natural - such as the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - and are not given to us by government, even though government oversteps its bounds. Whereas other rights, e.g. the right to vote, are entirely a function of the political system and thus are given by government.

Why is this even an issue? Who cares if the CP wants to ban porn...even if they held every single seat in congress and the presidency it wouldn't happen. Look how things turned out with the effort to ban alcohol in this country. And that was before television, and the internet. Not to mention that I'm pretty sure more people would oppose a porn ban and support a black market then they would with alcohol. This is a non-issue, it's so remote that the debate might as well be about which party will oppose anal probing in the event that aliens try to take over the planet. :-P Now there is something to debate...anyone know Baldwin's stance on it? lolz.

Banning porn is a violation of the1st amendment that you say you care about so much.It starts with porn, but where will it end?

True, True. I would be one of the people opposed to such a ban. Main point was that it'll never happen, therefore no harm no foul, no problem. Apart from that, any chance you could help clarify the issue: Is the question about a federal ban or a local community ban?

I love how, out of all the things wrong with the world today, banning porn is the deal breaker. Anyways though Baldwin has never said he would ban porn and a lot of his views are similar to Ron Paul's. This isn't about you guys not liking Baldwin, it's about you not liking the CP.

I myself will be voting for Baldwin if he's on the ballot in my state. And I am not religious atm. I'm agnostic. But I have no problem with things like allowing prayer in school.

Then why isn't he running as an independent? He endorsed the CP platform when he accepted its nomination

Exactly. The idea of freedom of religion is that one is free to make choices...not forced to be religious, or have your religious "rights" taken from you. We know Dr. Paul to be a religious man, but he does not suggest we have to be. He does not make a huge show and photo op of going to church and shouting out "God Bless America" etc. at the end of each speech. Some politicans make a point of looking religious, whether they are truly or not, simply to get the vote of that particular sect. Personally, I don't care which religion someone is, not even not reglious at all, just don't try to force whatever it is you believe in on me or mine. We'll make our own decisions, thank you.
