When you read revelations, and many other quotes from the bible... It's an easy read and blueprint for Fear mongering.
It's all a construct of society to control the populace.
The bible is simply an account of the Sun, it's passing through the ages, its cycle of life bringing. You want to know what forgives your sins, the new year, the new sun. For all the bad you did last year, with poor crops, and bad judgements, a new sun will come and forgive you, and give you yet another chance the following year.
The Sun brings light, and warmth, food, and longer days. It's natural to worship the Sun. We should cast off our biblical teachings, and return to more pagan ideas. Our earth is in trouble, our one true greatest gift has taken a beating over the last 2000 years... for 2000 years, we have been diverted into worshiping authority figures rather than knowing that our real gift is everyones, and can not be taken from you... Which is how industry, and greed have killed the earth around you for profit. And we all know global warming, and all the other disasters waiting to happen.
Think of why Republicans are so anti-global warming... Industry is profit. Think why Republicans are so PRO- Religion, and Fanatical religion at that... Jesus is a controlling authority figure that promotes devotion to a cause. Look at the main stream republicans and all the things they are passionate about is profit, and authority.
If we were too return to a more earth based way of thinking, we would be more upset with the destruction of forests, the leveling of mountains, the blocking of rivers, the dumping of garbage, etc... Now we think, oh well, we need to do this in order to make more money... and that's cool.
I believe the pieces were put in place 2000 years to create a greater slavery, an idea to control the masses in order to further the power of a very few. It is a great idea, that takes time to realize.
With all this new age thinking going on these days... and the sun about to pass into another "age" I think it all means something, we as a people will move into another structure of society, cast off the teachings and beliefs of the past age, and change the course.
Review the past 2000 years for a moment... it could be labeled as the most oppressive 2000 years of human history. Constant Wars, and control. It is time to usher in a new age of the Sun, open up the eyes that the Bible is simply the passing of time of the Sun, the life bringer, and that a new age brings new ideas, new hope, and a new beginning... Believe in something that no one owns, the Sun, and the Earth, and it can never be taken from you... Believe in a man in which other men decide if you belong and you will always be searching for other men to own you in some form or fashion.
Damn I just wrote a lot, but it's something I have been struggling with for quite sometime... And through researching history, religion, and governments... I see that the main focus is to control people in order to centralize power. Pagans didn't have the huge class based societies that we have today. The Class idea and system was brought about with the decline of pagan religions. how and why? You can't be more powerful over someone if they don't aspire to have what you have. If you soul is happy living off the land, and enjoying friends and family, you can control that person... start assigning ownership of land to people, and start creating ideas of riches and other material ideas ( especially fake value as in Paper Money ), you gain power over them...
