Sorry if this has been posted.

Just now while watching 60 minutes I saw a commercial in support of the surveillance act in Congress. It said the Senate approved the act and that the House was preventing it from passing. Then it showed a picture of one of my state's Congressmen saying something like contact your "contact your Congressmen and tell them to pass this act so we can watch the terrorists and protect this country."

Maybe it's just me but I've never seen a commercial like that in my life. I think the bottom of the screen said something like "Paid for by ...... Democracies."

Really scared the hell out of me.

HR 3773 according to the ad

Please add this info to the OP so people don't have to fish thru the thread to find it.

It was also called S. 2248 in the Senate

yeah i saw one here in arizona attacking our local congressman, rep. mitchell

On the RNC site, they have a ticker for "overtime" to pass the bill, I hope it keeps ticking until President Ron Paul tells them to take it down.

Do the opposite....contact your congressman and tell him he better damn-well not support it.

We all have to email our congressmen now and tell them they must not pass this bill.
We should email every one in our states or as many as we can.

Sucks my congressman happens to be the house republican leader Beohner.
Have a feeling I'm not going to convince him.

Do we know the exact name of the bill, or its number in Congress? I'd like to write to my congressman, but I need more information first.

Lets find out who is paying for this. It is probably some lobbyist from the military industrial complex.

I seen one too they are playing coast to coast. All 3 branches of government are completely out of control.

Where are they getting the money to pay to air coast to coast. That must cost a fortune!

Viewers in Alabama got that ad, it sounds like, during 60 Minutes, & parts of the broadcast were "accidentally" conveniently blacked out.
