Huffington Post Not Reacting Well To Gun Bill Defeat

I laughed at their headline, "Democracy weeps".

The filibuster should indicate to you that we need to discuss this instead of just pushing forward. Democracy weeps? Please.

I won't shed a tear for democracy lost. A man against the world doesn't hold any hope in democracy, but humanity, which democracy is poised to destroy. I don't want 51% of American tards determining my future with the power of law, whether they are R or D.

The filibuster (in this case) saves us from the merciless mouth of the American Eater's (and the boot of the American Kneejerk's) dream of Democracy.

God help us. I know democracy isn't going to.

I don't know where this 90% figure come from, but I think it doesn't matter anyway.

Just because a majority of the people think something is a good idea (or law) doesn't mean it is, and most certainly doesn't make it constitutional.

The number is of no matter. If 90% of Germans approved of sending Jews to concentration camps, the same principle applies - rights are not subject to the whim of majority rule.

When liberals don't get what they want, "democracy has failed us."

When liberals DO get what they want, "if you don't like how democracy works, you can just leave."

That's the spirit of modern "democracy", isn't it?

same phenom as when a person prays to a deity.
if the prayer is answered, your deity is smiling on you and rewarded you with blessings.
if the prayer isn't answered, then it must not have been the deity's will.

same kind of inner dissonance and gloss-over excuse to keep from having a inner crisis of soul.

the very thing the libs worship, bite them. there has to be a way to patch that over so the whole house of cards don't come down.

Hey, the commie, socialist or whatever you want to call them pig blocked me on HuffPost! Haha. I got to her. She only furthered my interest in destroying her in anyway I can as far as her position goes. Blocking me only made it worse because even though she doesn't use her real name on there, I was able to trace her real name within 2 minutes via Google. Too bad for her because I'm about to post again and make her wonder how I knew that. Bwahahaa.

Slowly eating away at our liberties. Heck, even Obama admitted it after the bill was defeated. And yet people say it's BS that our rights are being slowly taken away... please.

IDK how many on here are fans of Mark Levin but I love this guy. He is a real patriot and smart too. I want to post this on the HuffPost site but I'm not sure it'll make it very long before being deleted since it'll probably be like fleas infestation on a dog (agitating the crap out of socialists who hate hearing the truth).

Heh... you're not going to find a lot of Mark Levin fans on here to be completely honest. I don't mind if you like the guy, but I personally find his positions on a lot of issues reprehensible. He has been on a roll lately though with some good stuff, but he's bound to revert in my eyes again.

He hates us Paulians with the white hot intensity of 1000 burning suns.

"Everyone here knows nothing deters the Grate One, which is sad knowing how desperate the republic is for common sense, Constitutional fealty, and reasoned response. Congratulations on your part in nurturing the collective ignorance via megalomania. Yes, when not mercifully preempted by sporting events, you have been on my station since 2006, failing to produce even a modicum of the ratings produced by a former county commissioner who had no prior radio experience either, but a sharp eye for liberty and freedom, and a respectful ear for the opinion of callers who disagreed with her. Sadly, I never got the same performance from you. Rather than improve with age and experience, you became spoiled and rancid, unfortunately following the role model of others who started out exciting, compelling and entertaining only to swoon at the sound of their own voice or naked body [<Rush reference], blinded by the glare of their paychecks and taking the hysterical blathering of Myrmidons as inspired hosannas. Along with them you succumbed to the delusion of adequacy. It's true. You have your "radio program," about as successful as your "litigation in the Supreme Court," but when your response to an objective programming decision based on vile, prejudiced, uninformed content combined with five years of poor ratings performance is met with adolescent ad hominems, distortions, and incoherent scribblings, your screed has the intellectual depth of a damp sponge. As an obscure philosopher once wrote, "Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick it once, and you'll suck forever. Suck on, Mark, suck on. And I say that with all due respect. Brian Wilson"
