HQ Reply: "But come on, do you really believe Stern can keep his conversation civil?"

So, I guess they call this or this is "civil".

Was that really their reply about Stern?

Unbelievable. Such a tragic waste of an opportunity.

Howard Stern is very, very good at doing civil and professional interviews. He changes gears for each guest. He has had politicians on his show for years.

email them back and say:

does it matter? this is a great forum to spread the message to new listeners.

Exactly Stern has praised him. RP has been on hostile shows like Hannity that always have politicians on and are quick to bring up opposing views. Howard has admitted he is against the war on drugs, FCC and the war in Iraq. One guy at our meetup came to us because he heard about Ron Paul on the Howard Stern show.

Besides since he knows RP is the only guy who stood up for him when he had FCC troubles Howard will not only be civil he will kiss a lot of butt. If spreading the message is the key to revolution he definitely should at least call in. The worst thing that could happen is that Howard gets into his sex life, but RP has had a 50 year marriage, so Howard won't be to interested in bringing it up. But I really don't believe the conversation will stray much from the great ideas of RP.

Write HQ back ASAP and demand that he go on, RP has said this is OUR revolution. In your response to HQ maybe link the youtube of Stern praising him.

If this is true then I completely agree with everybody who has been saying the campaign doesn't know what they're doing.. I'm convinced now - a Stern endorsement would be an incredible boost for Paul.

If they're concerned about people who might be turned away from Ron Paul because they associate him with Stern - then screw it all.. that's just the same ole political correct zombie-think that keeps us stuck in a rut.

Paul has to go up against these idiots on the debate platform... and they call that CIVIL?

It sounds like the only reason is due to the personal bias toward Stern and ignorance from someone in the Paul campaign.

Pete

While I don't really listen to Howard Stern I know he does have a lot of influence regarding the people who do listen to him on a regular basis.

I remember hearing a clip of Howard when someone emailed him to let him know that Ron Paul was one of the few that stood up for him when that whole FCC issue came up.

Howard obviously is on Ron's side so I fail to see why anyone would think he would be less than civil during an interview.
