How Does Your Paycheck Look?

Mine was reduced as well but my paycheck varies on how much i make in tips. I'll have to compared how much i claimed in tips last paycheck to this years one.

Mine was literally enough to cover the gas to drive to work. Only job I could find is 25 miles away from the house, 12 hours per week. Fuck my life, for real.

Can we pretty please have this collapse soon so we're all in the same boat. Please?

Friggin Jay Leno here!!! Maybe times have changed but I "didn't make much" in tips ever!!

Mine only went down like 12 dollars.

So thankful texas doesn't have state income tax.

I'm fixing to. Seems I'm only working just to drag my ass out there.

Na you have to get laid off so you can get 2-3 years worth of unemployment. Plus food stamps, section 8, utilities, cell phone, etc.

Paycheck?
Have not see one in a long time.

Not paying taxes is the only plus side.

My steady and official paycheck looks about the same, but honestly I haven't looked at the stub to see what went where. I do know that obviously some of my taxation went up, but on the flipside my health insurance now costs me $0 (it used to be $25 or so out of each paycheck).

My pay is gross. Once a year I bend over. I 1099 everyone I can so they can bend over once a year too. This way they can get upset as well.

I can't really tell yet- it was not a typical check for me. Had eight hours of holiday pay plus eight hours of overtime I would not have normally had. That alone probably pushed me into a higher tax rate for the week.

I was going to get a Blue Cross/Blue Shield select health insurance plan for $60 a month starting this pay period.
but i had to forgo health insurance because of the increase in taxes... you know, so we can double tap some family's funeral in pakistan.

According to my records , I spent about $8 a day last yr on metals.Probably stop this yr , go with $4 a day on Ammo & Spam instead :).

Spam is no joke. I picked up a couple of cans the other day and I haven't had it since Boy Scouts. We used to always take it camping. Handy being canned but perfect to get some grease to cook in.

Not to bad. About like I remembered.

P.S. Oh yeah. Back to crying about my paycheck.

I'm pretty sure I was getting about a buck fifty picking watermelons when I was a kid. That comes to $32.55 in today's fiat according to the Silver and Gold Payment Calculator. I don't think I was ever healthier then I was after that stint. I keep meaning to start a health club that buses people out to the fields for work instead of yanking some handle at a gym somewhere...

unless it is one of my gyms where the exercise equipment drives generators and tell you how much power you've produced.

Another bus leaving at 7:00 Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

Did a handy man job today doing some painting. Asked for $175 cash. Received $175 cash. Still need to collect some cash from outstanding jobs. Should be paid in full in cash by Monday evening.

I try to encourage as many of my friends as possible to take jobs that pay in cash.
