Obama said he wants to hear from Americans. He wants to hear from people he disagrees with. If you don't think he's going to listen to you, fine, but if you don't say anything then you can't fucking whine when he doesn't do what you want.
This will be an interesting four years when Ron Paul will have the opportunity to get a lot of his legislation passed...maybe not the economic ones so much, but hemp, medical marijuana, civil liberties restoration.. these are all things that Obama says he agrees with, and most Democrats say they agree with. If Ron Paul puts forth the legislation and they don't go along with it, then they can be shown to be the traders that they are, just like Republicans were shown to be traders to economic conservatism over the last few administrations. The other option is we can have some civil liberties restored. Both of those options sound better than sitting in an internet forum whining about Obama's handlers and not doing anything.
