How do we go about soliciting Sarah Palin's Endorsement?

Why Not? The tea party theocon types would all line right up behind Ron Paul, and we'd have a 2-man race between Romney and Paul.

Nothing we do or say is going to get her endorsement. In all likelihood she already knows who she is going to endorse. If not then she will wait until she is sure who the winner is, she won't want to back the losing horse. I wouldn't shun her endorsement, but I still don't like her. "Dinosaurs are Jesus Ponies!"

A. Will never happen.
B. I just hate to stoop low and associate with someone like Sarah Palin just to get the vote of establishment dummies.

She would get a hell of a lot more people to look into Ron's message and the message of liberty. I think that only good could come from her endorsement.

this is all about gaining voters and growing the support base, not alienating people in some quixotic quest for ideological purity.

I think people need to be reminded of this more often.

If we're going to have a revolution, we have to do it the right way, and the people have to be ready for it.

So, is it better for the campaign to approach her (IF anyone should), or for supporters to?

Everybody who is scared about people the don't agree with needs to realise that RP wants more than half of the country to endorse him.

Yea don't get me wrong I have serious issues at least with how Sarah Palin presented herself in the 2008 campaign (as well as some of her positions on policy) and I'm surprised at how much of a following she still has to this day. But I'm not going to drink the kool-aid and think that her endorsement won't help in the Republican primary as would Chris Cristie's. If we could secure her endorsement I may cringe a little inside, but I really do not see a downside considering we would pickup 5-8% points.

I think she'd more likely endorse if she has a good idea who else is on board. That's why I brought up Doug Wead. As someone with evangelical Christian cred, a timely article/column carried on NewsMax, which was SO positive for Palin might have a sizeable impact. Wouldn't hurt for Iowa, either.

The other thing about an endorsement is we have a Massive problem with support from women. We need Palin, Bachman, Rice.... I am out of famous American women... ... Oprah... All those people on the view, the scary girls on Fox... the condescendingly nice girls on CNN, you get the idea. We need high profile women standing up and saying that Ron Paul is the best thing since sliced bread and washing machines. Or something less sexist.

It's a double-edged sword. If you've ever studied Howard Brody's "The Social Power of Expert Healers." It talks about how "upper-class" individuals (or physicians) are easily looked up to, in regards to social status. It talks about social power that is unrecognizable, is hard to channel into responsible uses. It talks that each class of people has its own specific adult agenda. The upper-classes agenda reflects that of a "helpful stance comprised of scientific knowledge." So it makes sense for them not to view themselves as manipulative.

In terms of RonPaul winning the presidency, I wish he would support Sarah Palin--just to help secure more votes for the presidency.

But our movement isn't just about votes (even if we're justified/correct), our message is one of an educational/philosophical (wise) approach. To help teach the majority about principle, ethics, and politics. We want the masses to understand the message, not secure their votes in a manipulative way.
