How do we go about soliciting Sarah Palin's Endorsement?

Nothing we do or say is going to get her endorsement. In all likelihood she already knows who she is going to endorse. If not then she will wait until she is sure who the winner is, she won't want to back the losing horse. I wouldn't shun her endorsement, but I still don't like her. "Dinosaurs are Jesus Ponies!"

She endorsed Rand because someone sent a letter to her house in Wascilla, AK that she had to personally sign for. She read the personal plea to endorse Rand, and next thing you know, she endorsed Rand.

If everyone sent a personal letter to her that she had to sign for, it might do the trick. Seriously!

What about a 1 day four or five stop campaign blitz by RP himself through Alaska?

Even if the endorsement doesn't come he would pick up a huge amount permanent support in the state. If it was done before BTO it would mean a lot for or friends in the north for home winter is a serious black out.

Wouldn't that just piss her off? Getting 100's of Certified letters. This group is not known for its moderation.

No, as long as they are kind and respectful. I think she is the kind of person who appreciates fan mail.

She will never endorse Ron Paul. I guarantee it.

It could happen. Not only do a lot of her stated views - including on foreign policy - line up with Dr. Paul, but a Paul endorsement makes sense for her from a risk/reward point of view. These days, even among the GOP base, Palin is considered something of a lightweight, more of a cultural than a political figure. Even 75% of Republicans didn't want her to run.

Palin's career in politics is basically over, unless she's willing to make what to her would seem like a huge bet. If she is willing to bet on Paul being correct, and correct about everything - that is to say, that we will see a monetary and banking crisis at home and imperial collapse abroad unless we stop the wars, cut spending hugely and immediately repeal legal tender laws - this could be her ticket. If she endorses Paul and he goes on to win, she'll be seen as the ultimate king-maker and become hugely influential in the party going forward. But if she endorses Paul and he doesn't win, but then it turns out his predictions were correct, as they will be, then she looks prescient and wise. She will be able to point to that in the future if she wants to run: "I saw the systemic crisis coming, and worked to elect the one man who had a plan to prevent it" is a powerful point to make on the debate stage.

Also, besides writing her letters, we could leave comments on Sarah's Facebook wall - I think her organization monitors that.

The establishment doesn't like her... Besides, this is all about gaining voters and growing the support base, not alienating people in some quixotic quest for ideological purity.

I'd disagree, that is but a paralleled necessary component that aids in the teaching process, or the result of getting people to understand Ron Paul's ideals. Gaining voters and growing the support base is necessary, to get Ron Paul elected. But we're doing more than just pushing for our ideal elected candidate. We're also trying to teach the idea, that Ron Paul stands for. Teach the idea--articulate this idea--the idea that Ron Paul stands for, and the votes WILL follow. We're not simply pushing for the man to become President, we're a unity of people, with the correct ideals that founded this country and ensured freedom and happiness. Getting people to understand the Constitution, Liberty, Economics, Philosophy (Life, Politics, Society), and the real American way. The philosophy that Ron Paul teaches is the idea, that the founders originally created. Getting people to better understand his points, and the basic introductions of philosophy (conceptual analysis, argument structure, identification of a premise and conclusion), will assist us with increasing his support base.

like many have said, there's actually a lot in it for her to endorse us, if she truly does want to be unique and "rogue"

Would be a game changer if she did endorse us.

I could only see her endorsing Perry, Cain, Bachmann or Paul.

If we all go to her as "fans of her" and say that she should endorse Paul I think that would be good.

There are things I like about Palin, but she's just not presidential material IMO. An endorsement of Ron Paul from her would put the tea party behind Ron and give us a huge leg up.

The thing is, we have had four years to educate people. That time has passed. It is now about winning the nomination, and then the general election. We don't have time to educate enough people anymore and still get him elected. There is no better way to educate the masses about Ron Paul and the philosophy of liberty and limited government than to get him elected. The media can't ignore the President.

You have to give her money if you want her to care what you think.

Again, I am absolutely dumbfounded (for the second time in a week on here) that people are arguing AGAINST an endorsement by Sarah Palin.

Did anyone watch the KY race? It took ONE MAN, LITERALLY, to get the endorsement of Sarah Palin for Rand Paul.
ONE Phone call, ONE man... and that was HUGE for Rand's campaign.

If the grassroots is as strong as they say they are - someone will approach Palin the same way we did with the 2010 KY Senate Race - requesting an endorsement of Ron. It would be in the best interest of this campaign to do it.

How naive can we be that our guy is going to win without additional support? I am all for a 2012 Win, but we are NOT in any way even close to winning.

This endorsement could be a HUGE tipping point for us - and we would be able to use it to our advantage and take the 10-20% of those voting for her in the hypothetical polls onto our side (or at least to consider it).

My god - I literally cannot believe some of you are against this.
Hop off the high horses that we all love to ride on and realize we are no where close to winning this race and can use more help.

This message should continue to be spread to ANYONE and EVERYONE... Not propped up onto a pedestal for only the high and mighty to speak.

I agree that our time is limited. In that regard, you're correct. But even after doing so, when (not if) Ron Paul is president, the focus should be on teaching the ideals he practices--not irrelevant numbers or votes. If people understand the ideals, that'll ensure such a philosophy is what stays in government, as it courses through the veins of the generations following us.

Why Not? The tea party theocon types would all line right up behind Ron Paul, and we'd have a 2-man race between Romney and Paul.

Do you think they like being called theocons and that calling them that would make them more likely to get behind our guy?

I agree. The name calling needs to stop.

The best way to spread the philosophy is getting Paul elected. Endorsements of Republicans who are considered 'big names' helps.

haha I think there's some confusion here. The question is how, not should.

But, for the record, I don't think her supporters would necessarily follow her "in to the gates of Hell", so to speak. She could lose alot of support (i.e. customers) if she endorses a non-interventionist candidate.

Much like Zachary said on page 2:

How could she ever betray Israel like that?

Many of her supporters will replay the clips of Ron Paul being ok with a nuclear Iran and it'll be game over for them. I mean, this woman wears the Star of David on her neck...obviously Israel is a big issue, if not the biggest issue. An issue I think that cannot be ignored or reconciled with Palinites.

Ok, with all that said, if one were to seek an endorsement, you've gotta win over some of her supporters as well. You've got to shift the focus from Israel to small government, which is an area we can both agree on. I'm sure all the GOP candidates are wooing her, but you've gotta do something that stands out. A personal letter might work. If it worked with Rand, perhaps one could work that angle. Say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
