Sadly since taking a break from liberty, politics, and most everything over the last year many of my freinds and family have apparently jumped off a cliff and now #FeelTheBern

What do I do? How do I save them?

It shouldn't be about Sanders in particular, over against every other horrible Democrat and Republican.

It should be about more basic ethical and economic principles. Maybe just send them links to good articles that pop up from time to time at LRC or other good sites just to spur discussion. Expect it to be a lengthy process.

On the other hand, maybe one of the best educational experiences for them will be if Bernie actually gets elected, and then they'll get to see first hand how wrong they were ever to support him.

Our best hope is that the DNC screws them all over on behalf of Shrillery, and then they end up sitting out the election or possibly even voting for Trump - out of pure spite.

The GOP and DNC need to burn to the ground.

Give them a lesson on what Sanders' political ideas did to Asia and Eastern Europe, and if they try to say that "Democratic" socialism is different, kindly remind them that voting doesn't bring back the dead. I don't think it's possible to convince Sanders supporters using logic, but there is a possibility that if you anger them enough, you'll force them to admit to being irrational and they may end up entertaining a logical discussion later.
