NH is a different planet let alone country in comparison to the rest of the states. It is a Libertarian state government top to bottom with numerous Libertarian elected officials and government employees. The Free State Project is bringing in thousands of the most Pro-Libertarian minded people from all around the country. Their state motto is Live Free or Die is basically Ron's entire platform. We all know media polls mean nothing. I just cant see how it would be possible for Ron to lose.

Because all it takes is for a talking head on tv to bleat praise for some hack who pretends to be like Ron for many to run to the polls and scribble a game of hangman on the ballot.

Well, look at it this way - a lot of independent voters simply do not trust Republicans any longer no matter what they say or who runs on their ticket. They think the Democrats are the safer bet and just don't know any better.

Many people in New Hampshire are sheep, at least on the news at least (been watching a ton of CNN last 24-Hours).

That said Free State Project has at least a thousand supporters perhaps in New Hampshire and hopefully they will all turn out for Dr. Paul today.

Well, they apparently aren't as bright as we had hoped. Their disdain for what has happened under republican control has caused them to throw away whatever principles of liberty they had in exchange for socialism, just to get the current people out of office.

Didn't Ed Clark win 12% of the vote in Alaska? That's probably the highest percentage ever for a Libertarian presidential candidate. Maybe New Hampshire should change its motto to "Live Free if They Let Us." ;)

I believe that less than 1000 Free Staters have actually moved to New Hampshire.

Most Libertarian isn't the same as actually Libertarian.

Well, don't try and call off NH this early.... X_x

But its possible Independants don't think he can win after Iowa, thus they hop on the Obama bandwagon of ignorance.

Southern NH, where all the people live, is in fact now nothing but a suburb of Boston.

And even the "most libertarian state in the country" is still like 0.2% libertarian.

Your fellow Americans hate freedom. It's pretty simple, really.

We still have to fight, because as the empire spins down the toilet people will start to remember that we tried to warn them.

No, we don't all know the polls mean nothing. Many polls were right on the money, or damn close in Iowa.

Because we are up against this mind set

Moment Of Truth In N.H. As Voters Stream To Polls
By Jonathan Allen, CQ Staff
Warner, N.H. — A steady stream of voters filtered into town hall here in this Frostian hamlet to cast ballots in the nation’s first presidential primary Tuesday morning.

Democratic candidates’ signs and election-day volunteers dominated the lawn, but there were also voters like Roy and Virginia Ferguson, who showed up to cast their ballots on the Republican side for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney .

He’s not from the establishment,” said Virginia Ferguson, who made up her mind long ago.

“It was a tough choice between Mitt Romney and John McCain ,” her husband said. “I’m a little worried about McCain’s age.”

April Blood, 35, said she voted Democratic, for New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, in part because she knew her favorite candidate, Texas Rep. Ron Paul , would not win.

Clinton, she said, would look out for her parents and her children, the youngest of whom was strapped to her back.

“My parents are at that age that I want to make sure there’s something going on for them,” she said. And for her kids, Clinton is best positioned to ensure there are available jobs “when they’re ready to work,” she said.

First-time voter Matthias Nevins, 18, liked Illinois Sen. Barack Obama ’s platform on the environment, health care and other issues. And then there was the rock star thing.

“I went to a rally last night,” he said. “The feel was uplifting.”

Voters said they will be relieved when their phones stop ringing incessantly, but they are fiercely proud and protective of the role they play in the primary process.

Jim Mitchell, owner of Main Street Book Ends, a popular stop for candidates, said the face-to-face contact voters have with candidates is invaluable.

“We really, truly enjoy this every four years,” he said.

To sum the whole thing up about the drones in this country.. The fact that there is a "Iowa Bump" for an election is CRAZY.. I can possibly see jumping on a bandwagon for a sports team but for your LIVES and FUTURE .. Its really really sad that people can change their canidate based on how he did in another state .. Does anyone else see this MADNESS ..

"Diebolds"
True but that just makes the case for NH even stronger. Its the only state where %50 of the votes are counted in the open using paper ballots. Also I dont know if you guys are aware but Ron won the Independent vote in Iowa with %29. Nearly half of NH are Independents. Barry Goldwater Jr. someone who is extremely popular in NH has been campaigning for Ron lately. I just dont see how it would be possible for him to lose.

If they aren't really, really tuned in, you almost can't blame them. The ONLY way to get people to wake up is to make them understand that just like the AFC and NFC are now ONE league (as opposed to the old NFL and AFL), the parties have merged into two wings of the same party.

Because TONS of people moved to NH from Massachusetts to get away from the regulation and taxes and in the process, they brought with them the same voting tendencies that brought the exact type of government that they ran away from in the first place.

Theyre idiots.

For me the election is highlighting how much "drones" and "sheep" we have in the country. And how America has been so dumbed down...

I mean if people generally had logical reasons behind their vote, and actually agreed with whom they are voting for... It wouldn't be so bad. But instead you have people saying "Oh I'm voting for Mccain since he is anti-war" and "I'm for Obama since he is such a good speaker"... Retarded rationals like these just seem to be a recurring theme so far.
