There are many ways to promote freedom, prosperity, and peace. Politics is just one way. The presidential race is just one way. The message can be a lifestyle, not just something exclusive to government.Well the message is useless unless we have a president who will put into use this message.
Why should we continue trying to win this when there will be no brokered convention and he will not run third party?
Whether he wins doesn't matter. He's said repeatedly that the support that has been generated has surprised even him. It IS about the message. It always has been.
Even if Paul won, we'd still have to get other RP Republicans into positions of power in the Republican party. You really think if he won, the MSM, elites, bilderbergs, CFR, Rockefellers, and so forth would just say, "Well shit Ron! Looks like you got the best of us! Go ahead and take all our power away!"
This is just the beginning.
We didn't come all this way to end in smoke. We need to exploit McCain's war attitude and give reasons to support Ron Paul and tell why McCain is not a conservative. Huckabee wants to take down McCain. Progressives want to take down McCain (or McCrack) Can't we all stand up for one common cause and then go to battle with Huck? Seriously, we need to take McCain down and force OT with this game! IT IS FAR FROM OVER! IF WE FIGHT TO THE END! WE FIGHT TO THE END AND PUT IN A TOUGH BATTLE!
I disagree with everybody when they say "it's the message, not Ron Paul" Well the message is useless unless we have a president who will put into use this message.
It's funny that people will have faith in the unseen when it is despair. Don't believe in defeat until the defeat has actually happened.
As Rocky said, "I didn't hear no bell."
Call me a conspiracy nut but I think by the time 2012 comes we'll be living under martial law, that's why Ron Paul gave me hope. Now it's time to prepare to go to South America I think. I would fight but I have a daughter and I don't want to put her in danger. So until an armed revolution succeeds her, I'll be leaving
I too should probably leave the forum and will right after this post until Ron Paul takes responsibility for his campaign instead of just saying basically 'gee-whiz'.
I'm not going to attack other posters who say this is a another fair weather, non contributing troll chiming in...fact is I don't post because the message is covered on the internet ad nauseum - I've done plenty in my community and with cash to the campaign. And I've been down this road before in 1988, 1992 and 1996 with RP and Harry Browne. So check that thought right now and get real.
Theres an old saying I'm sure we all know - doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is insanity.
If Ron wants more money he can easily get it, many more votes and delegates too - for Gods sake his message is the only hope we have - but first he has to show some leadership and hold this campaign accountable for what they've failed to do, repeatedly.
Come on lets get past the kool-aid here they got 10x the money ad 100x the people they ever imaged to deliver a popular message in a receptive time and in the most brutal of ironies couldn't handle it. Not Ron Paul per se, but rather the management and staff of the campaign that has failed him miserably...so far.
But Ron is not without responsibility and what is annoying me most now is this crap of 'keep donating and I'll stay in the race' it's obscene and defies his message.
I'll tell you what Ron - I'll be first in line to give you another 1250 when you show some leadership, take responsibility and fire all the morons who tarnished your name and squandered the 30+ million we already gave and replace them with professionals so you can get back to the job of running for president with the largest grass roots support base around.
Put my money and time where your mouth is all I'm asking.
Until then I'm ghost here. Die-hard does not mean blind.
