honest question...who is your #2 candidate?

I am getting really sick of this stupid question popping up over, and over and over again.

There is no second choice. This is the first time in my adult lifetime that such a person has appeared on the scene (first time since Barry Goldwater). How could I or anyone have a second choice?

That's like asking; "If you can't be healthy, which fatal disease would you prefer?" I will not vote for a lying, thieving, traitorous sonofabitch just because he is less of a liar, thief and traitor than some other sonofabitch. Anyone who doesn't realize that a "second choice" is a vote for the ruling class is a fool.

Remember.. he's running right now against the queen of centralized socialism Hilary (free everything).. so he can't quite say what he thinks/believes... I have the feeling that in the general, Obama will be a lot less socialistic because even he knows what high taxes and lots of regulation do to competition/growth

Ummm...why don't you and so many others stop doing market research for other campaigns and focus on getting our candidate elected.

This "second choice" stuff is getting really old and there have already ben TONS of these threads. The search function is your friend.

Regardless of whether RP wins the Republican party nomination, the vast majority of us have decided to write in RP if he doesn't make a third party run.

It's academic folks. Ron Paul can't win the Republican nomination. It ain't gonna happen.

But there simply is no alternative......which is terrible

So I have to say, my money is on Hitlery or Obama to get to the W-house simply because I don't reckon any of the other Republican candidates will make it all the way.

That said, The Ron Paul movement will grow and become much more powerful in the coming years. The movement is international and it will continue to grow.

So whilst I may be accused of being a troll, I maintain that the Ron Paul movement is still in its infancy. The coming fiscal tsunami that will unwind the global economy must surely play straight into the hands of a fiscal conservative and monetary reform......and that means Ron Paul.

And I for one will support him for as long as he continues to promote liberty, freedom and a sane monetary system

I hope you are right but so far many predictions on these forums have been false. Heck, people were saying my Seahawks were gonna beat the Packers and look what happened! It is going to take a lot of hard work to keep things together.

I would have been ok with Fred but now I'll vote for Hilary if RP doesn't get the GOP nod.

Two fold: i'm long time GOP but I'd rather push us over the edge than keep creeping slowly and I wont support the GOP in their current form any longer. Again, I'd rather bail water into the sinking ship and get it over with.

If this question is not about Paul...why is it posted on Ron Paul Forums? I can't even figure out a way you can twist this question into something that is even remotely helpful in getting Paul elected.
