I live in a very hilly treeless aria of Idaho and you can plainly see the side of this one hill from miles away in almost all directions. Im looking to make the worlds biggest Ron Paul 2012 sign in all of history. Possibly the worlds biggest sign EVER.

This fall i plan to spend about 1000 bucks on tulips and graph out ginormis letters with string (so as to do this shit right) and bike or drive up on this hill and plant every one of these tulips as to say RON PAUL 2012...

Then like the grinch i will so sneekaly do this at night and so stelthaly cover my tracks (with a rake shit head) so as no one will be the wiser till spring...

I know Tulips will make it on this hill and they will stand out like a giant ron paul sign against that dead gray brown dirt of the high dessert.

The land is owned by the government so i would not be stepping on anyones rights though it would be a savage crime and burn against the man.

This can be done boys. And if i do it i plan to do it so epic like... It may take me all night so i will need the weekend and the beer. Could shape up to be a fun night this fall.

should do this on a night right before a rain as to help the flowers and cover tracks.

My hole town can see it. You could see it from the interstate. This is the side of a hill or mountain. I suppose i could just mountain bike around and not try to correlate it with Liberty in any way but im always thinking of stupid ways of spreading some message. I just disagree with you on what this could do. I got more out of the grass roots shit last time then the campaign.

I may have 2 helpers but this is on BLM and could be a bad crime if i get the wrong judge. I don't care all that much because im posting on the internet but helpers would increase the possible outcome of the project. Or it could be done in a couple of days.

Tulips are difficult to grow and do not last long. They have to have a certain amount of cold in the winter in order to bloom the next spring. They rot easily if you get too much rain. They dont grow well in the spring without enought water. Have you considered other folliage or flowers? daffodils return each year and are hardier and easier is most areas.

Sounds pretty cool as long as you post pictures! I would consider donating some of the money to the campaign. It might be easier to just get perennial bulbs so you can stick them in the ground and then come back at night with cans of water. Make sure they are perennials so they come up FOREVER!

Any flower people out there want to tell me what to use. Im in SE Idaho and tulips seem to do just fine along with daphadills and such.

It is similar to the Hollywood sign but dwarfs it in size, I know because I was involved in design and construction. It design is not terribly sophisticated nor is the construction process.

The problem is where you would put it. There is no point in erecting it anywhere it cannot be seen by huge numbers of people. Inevitably when huge numbers of people can see something, they will object. Even if someone donated private land in the perfect location aviation authorities always object.

More hassle than it's worth I think
