If we absolutely have to import more foreigners, then by all means let's import people more amenable to our founding values. Salvation is not going to come from south of the border.

I read this post as advocating hard work and self sufficiency..

Hell, our own population isn't amenable to our founding values. Maybe we should think about deporting those dependent on gubmint.

Yeah- who needs all those church-going people ruining our Sundays? (hispanics are the most likely group to attend Church at least once a week- more so than whites).

No I wasn't, I was actually agreeing with what I thought Origanalist said, "Deport Americans that insist on living off of others labor"...

I've never suggested or even agreed with any statements that allude to folks of Mexican linage not being religious or even industrious....
My statement was directed at those who collect "A-Check" from the federal government....If some of those people are of Mexican blood then of course they should be included with those of all other nationalities who "suck the government tit"..

No amount of religion or ethnic heritage can sway my belief that depending on the federal government for sustenance is wrong..

Polls on this are completely useless right now and ridiculously bias regardless given the wording. The hysteria will soon pass.

This is NOT so in practical terms of Congress making a move because they may use these polls to bolster their positions.

One needs to learn to distinguish the philosophical and normative aspects of such issues from the positive and practical.

Sorry boys, but a fish taco just sounds plain flat out disgusting to me.

It didn't sound that appetizing to me either until I tried one. The breading is sweet and the fish is quickly fried- not greasy. Add the sauce (mayanaise and yogurt), some chopped cabbage and cilantro, scoop of guacamole all in a corn tortilla, and squeeze some fresh lime on it just before you eat it.

As for the Corona, haven't had that in ages.
