Some of you act as if the welfare state just popped up on African Americans for no reason. Yes, welfare brought its own consequences. I oppose welfare. But welfare was another failed progressive fix to a problem that existed before most of you were probably born. If a white person is not racist. Which would include myself. How am I supposed to be a "better listener" as Hillary says? Is it my duty, since I'm white, and my black brothers claim another white person has discriminated against them, to go around to white people and yell at them as if the white racists are going to listen to me? I'm confused as to what my angle is.

If you have a problem with racism and racists, find the racists, and deal with the racists, if that's your social agenda. Don't say "there's a lot of white racism so other whites should "do something"". That's also racist.

I'm not in the business of accusing rocks of being hard, it's far too obvious of a reality to be considered an accusation and simply pointing it out would be a waste of oxygen. Your problem isn't with any person or group of people with opinions, your problem is with science and statistics, I get accused of that too by certain persons because I don't buy some of the more speculative aspects of modern scientific theory and demographics, but the empirical data isn't really up for a vote. A hypothetical person who makes a point of denying clearly demonstrable facts and data wouldn't necessarily be an SJW, but they would fall under the category of being wrong, and possibly superstitious.

A sizable demographic of this country who identifies as black does not have a problem with racism, they have a problem with self-discipline. Racism doesn't cause teenage boys of the same racial affiliation to shoot each other en mass, a lack of self-control does. People of color who wish to purchase a home in my area often do so, and the reason why they are able to is not because they've overcome some massive hurdle imposed upon them by people of a similar ethnic background to myself, but more so because they have a stable family situation and their clothes fit properly. Granted, most of them are fresh off the boat from either Jamaica or Haiti, so maybe you could argue that there is some kind of bigotry going on here, though it tends to be centered upon something cultural rather than skin-color, but I highly doubt it.

Indeed they were, they had a slightly lower rate of divorce as well. If you want to destroy a people, the quickest way to do it is to destroy their work ethic. Uh, no, let's slow down a minute because you are are conflating unrelated concepts here.

The scoring on IQ tests are facts - if somebody scores a 98 on an IQ test, it is a fact they scored a 98. If a group of people score, on average, 110 IQ, then it is a fact that is what they scored.

Whether IQ scores relate to anything substantial such as intelligence is up for debate. The facts seem to show that IQ scores correlate to intelligence, on average, even if it isn't perfectly accurate from individual to individual. But the correlation makes it all the more important when discussing average IQ of large groups. An individual you may be working with could have an IQ score of 80 and be totally brilliant - but the average person with an IQ of 80 is not very intelligent.

But back to the main issue - if a group of people have a lower IQ, and that group is a race, then recognizing that group has a lower IQ is not racist. Facts aren't racist.

We can argue whether IQ scores are meaningful, but we already did that and the only valid argument you made was that you happen to work with people on the margin, who are highly intelligent but in some cases have low IQ scores. You need to recognize those people are on the margin and that on average, IQ scores do correlate to intelligence. When you start looking at large groups of people, the results become meaningful. You haven't made any valid arguments against that.

Can you explain why you think the CRA was primarily responsible? Not saying you are wrong, but the CRA did get rid of institutional racism which was probably a good thing - the whole private business issue is not good in principle but it may have helped them economically in some senses.

I'm pretty sure it is the welfare, divorce courts and war on drugs that were the huge factors that destabilized black families.

That is not true, why would a woman find a good man who can provide for her when she can just fuck some alpha thug and go on daddy welfare? Then her kids are raised with a single mom and they end up being more violent, committing more crime and creating children out of wedlock. It becomes a cycle.
