The Democrats have been saying we're wasting our time in Iraq and Iran for a long time now. All the attention is in Pakistan now. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic but I'm seeing a worst case scenario: Pakistan goes to civil war and Bush sends our troops to support the Musharraf forces. But seriously, I'm just angry now.

Keep in mind though that she was supported by the poor. Most Al Qaeda and terrorists come from this class. I really doubt they wanted to off her.

It seems as if the U.S is Musharraf's puppet. He has manipulated the Uniter States into giving his military billions of dollars in aid while at the same time his security forces have provided a safe zone for the terrorists in the northern region.

It's very fishy. Apparently the guy shot her and then detonated the bomb.

They always kill the hit man to cover their tracks. The guy who shot her was probably lied to about the plan. They may have convinced him to wear a bomb to force the regular guards away while the "insiders" would have a chance to whisk him away under pretense of controlling the situation.

By the way, ABC News is interviewing a Pakistani and he says this is not the first time a candidate was assassinated under Musharraf and that there is something wrong with the way he's running the country. Of course our president will declare another "war on terror".
