So? Reading it and knowing what it means are different things altogether. Can you read the languages the original texts were written in? If not, you won't understand a lot of the subtleties that are lost in translation. You also need to know quite a bit of near eastern history to get what the writers are saying. You give me the impression that your scholarship is very weak.
