Sure Hannity deserved to be rebuked. But if a group of RP supporters do turn into a pack of hyenas around him, might it not have a negative effect on voters?
Might it not have an effect on the way people vote if RP supporters are seen acting in a way that seems unpleasant or aggressive?
Or, to put it another way, I believe very sincerely that the CIA is correct when they teach and talk about blowback.
But there are a few RP supporters who appear not to have grasped the concept.
Blowback doesn't flow in one direction. There is blowback from Fox News/Sean Hannity toward the Ron Paul campaign because of last Sunday night. The Ron Paul protesters' chasing Sean Hannity down the street was also blowback against Fox News, whom Hannity happens to be an agent of, for its blatant attempt to manipulate the GOP Primary.
