Hanity Is Trashing Paul Right Now

Why are you watching FOX?

Know your enemy.

"Come on!

Yes I know my enemies

They're the teachers who taught me to fight me
Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission
Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite

All of which are American dreams!"

Ron Paul is the only one trying to bring back the dream of liberty and freedom.

Everyone calm down. We are all in this for the same reason, and the pressure is on right now. So lets not turn on each other.

If we're going to implode, lets do it after the results tonight:)

4 hrs 15 minutes till we start getting real results.

Awesome, see how many votes that gets you.

I am through with this forum, crap like this is what is going to put the knife in the whole thing, because all of this spastic emotional overreaction will translate to millions of people going back into hiding once he isn't nominated. OMG FOX SUX DIEBOLD IS AGAINST US WTF IS OUR POLL etc etc. Get a freakin grip on yourself.

Anybody know where a rational forum is?

yea, I'm siding with you on this one.

Can I put this is perspective? We've all heard hit pieces before. One thing I've noticed, which I never heard with such consistancy, is with every hit piece, look towards the end of the article or listen to the end of the audio and you hear or see "...Ron Paul has no chance of being president or getting the nomination."

Ask yourself why they always say that.

PR Still matters.

Was it entertaining and, to some respect, justified that hannity got slammed?

Sure.

But guess what?

Once the PR machine makes a splash, the damage is done.

That's just the reality of it, like it or not.

Is that fair? No. But it's very, very real.

Ghandi never yelled "you suck", neither did MLK, they just stood strong for the message, bringing shields of high character to every battle, not swords of rabid mongrels.

We can recover from this, but we only have 1 month left.

There's absolutely no room for screwing around.

Radio and TV still have a lot of power even in the internet age.

Why?

Established Trust.

Ignore this at your own peril.

Your analogy to Ghandi and MLK is without merit because Ron Paul also did not yell "you suck." I agree that if Ron Paul was on the video chasing Sean Hannity down the street cursing at him that the Good Doctor would probably not be viewed as presidential material. NEVERTHELESS, Ron Paul did not engage in the foregoing activities; some of his supporters (alleged) did. I'm sure not all of Ghandi's or MLK's followers were little angels and guess what, neither are some of Ron Paul's supporters.

The MSM has been saying that Ron Paul has no chance of being president or getting the nomination from the very day he announced his candidacy. Last Sunday's protest did nothing to alter the MSM's views toward Ron Paul. They would be saying the same nonsense today if last Sunday's protest never occurred.

That excuses nothing, and only brings them down to the level of the very thing they were protesting against.

On what basis?

People who behave unjustly deserve rigorous condemnation. In fact, refraining from such condemnation is an offense against justice.

Personally, I think that if anything the campaign and its supporters have been too nice. Paul's candidacy would be more effective if he could raise himself to a jeremiad against the Republican establishment, complete with demands for a capital-R Reckoning.

Ok Ok...The Yelling at Hannity was Wrong

With time to plan, and consider it **rationally** none of us would do it. However if this is Team Paul, then perhaps we should understand those Paul supporters were fed up and acted human.

Now we have a choice will we brawl inside our own dug out, or clear the benches and fight together against Fox and their fastball to Ron Paul's helmet?

What will we do?

Ron Paul called Fox News Reporters war mongers, do you really think there is a nice interview waiting for him now?

The great thing about this "campaign" is watching all those so called "informative" talk
and news expose themselves for what they really are.

You've heard the expression, give then enough rope to...

Stay on message. Present a vision of how different things could be and how it is impossible to continue, mathematically impossible to continue the way we are from not following the law of the land.

I am so thankful for everyone's help in this. It is about us not Ron Paul. That is the reason the status quo media do not get it.

Tsk, tsk, newbie. You should hang around for more than two months before you bitch about RP supporters not being "rational."

I am a mom with almost a 20 year track record of voting Republican. I know what real republicans stand for - smaller government, less taxes, returning power to the states.

I used to listen to Sean back when he was a widdle biddie talk show host in Huntsville, AL. He used to fight the establishment (which was liberal at the time) on a daily basis on talk radio. I think it's great we reminded him that he has become a part of that establishment. He doesn't seem to remember what it was like to be ignored.

Well.....

Wow and people are suprised? We got an incredibly nice interview from him and a few people go and ruin that aura.

"It's annoying not [being] able to participate in the debate," said Paul, adding that Fox News reporters and commentators "are warmongerers who don't want to hear other opinions." -Ron Paul

It seems Ron Paul has taken the gloves off as well. It seems the nice aura was gone when we were excluded from the debate, atleast Ron Paul thinks so.

Here is a link for the quote.

To answer all of your questions, contrast how Ron Paul behaves versus how the loony block of his supporters behave (i.e. Leno last night vs. that video).

If you see a difference, then you understand me. If you don't then there's nothing I can do to help.

I don't care about what Sean Hannity thinks, I care about what people who see a pack of hyenas think when they step into the booth.

Also, "noob" is about the stupidest thing you can call somebody on the internet, because it implies that the date they register to a forum somehow informs what they are saying. Get a grip, I've followed Ron Paul's career before 95% of the people here ever heard of him.

If you are so naieve to think that how people who hold Ron Paul signs act doesn't reflect how others will view him then this movement has a whole, whole lot to learn before it can ever elevate RP or anybody else to a respectable level of candidacy. It's just the plain truth.

Go punch the wall in your basement or something if you can't handle politics and you need to vent your childish emotions, don't degrade yourselves on TV in Ron's name. Please.

Sure Hannity deserved to be rebuked. But if a group of RP supporters do turn into a pack of hyenas around him, might it not have a negative effect on voters?

Might it not have an effect on the way people vote if RP supporters are seen acting in a way that seems unpleasant or aggressive?

Or, to put it another way, I believe very sincerely that the CIA is correct when they teach and talk about blowback.

But there are a few RP supporters who appear not to have grasped the concept.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Assuming arguendo that Ron Paul wanted to behave like some of the protesters on the Leno show, it would have made him look unpresidential and the First Amendment doesn't protect such behaviour on private property. By contrast, a street is public property wherein First Amendment rights are protected including the rights of supporters of a political candidate who wish to vent their frustration toward an agent of a media conglomerate that is blatantly attempting to manipulate the GOP Primary.
