When you call them, ask them why it is that the average american has to pay their bills but the US government doesn't. Ask them why private bankers are controlling our issuance of currency and thus our economy. Ask them why we have to bail them out when we didn't agree to do that. Bernanke and Paulson were appointed NOT elected.

I called the DC offices for Marshall/Chamblis/Isakson from Georgia. They didn't soubd very interested OR stressed out. Should I have called the local office instead? Heck, I'll call them all. The more the better!!

I pointed out that that bulk of deposits are guaranteed by FDIC and SIPC, so the only people we are "saving" are management and shareholders of these companies.

Had a good conversation with the staffer at Kucinich's office, who murmured agreement when I said that the first order of business was to balance the government's accounts.
