Right on time to make sure that the energy to ban guns is not lost for the gun grabbers.

Good ol California. Strictest gun laws in the country.

Media generated hysteria. Every shooter is now guaranteed at least 15 minutes of fame.

This was in Cali, the strictist gun control state of all. This doesn't speak well of gun control. Someone needs to pull up the stats on the gun crime rates of the states with the most lenient laws and compare them to the state(s) with the strictest laws.

Media generated hysteria. Every shooter is now guaranteed at least 15 minutes of fame.
And every idiot on psycotic meds who contemplates suicide knows the media's chosen method of action. "Do 'this' with 'this' weapon, and we'll make you famous!"

I get breaking Fox News alerts in my email whenever there is a shooting anywhere in the country, but they don't seem to report other kinds of violence with the same frequency or sense of urgency..just those with guns. The media does have a bias in reporting gun related deaths in particular, IMO.

Only two shot? Sounds like they were aiming for specific targets, like a gang target.

A student at a Taft, Calif., high school opened fire with a shotgun Thursday, injuring at least one classmate, CNN reported, quoting sheriff's department officials.

Ray Pruitt, with the Kern County Sheriff's Department, said the shooter was taken into custody, the news network reported.
KERO-TV's Christine Dinh reported that at least two terrified students -- including one who had locked herself in a closet -- called their parents as the shooting unfolded.
Dinh said one of the students told her parents that she saw one victim, a classmate, lying on the floor in a pool of blood and that a second peson, a teacher was also shot.
KGET-TV quoted fire officials as saying the shooting victim was airlifted to Kern Medical Center with unknown injuries and that a second person, with minor injuries, refused treatment at the scene. Three ambulances and a medevac were sent to the school.
The shooting took place around 9 a.m. local time in the school's science building.
KERO said officers answering a 911 call went going room-by-room to secure the school.
Parents were instructed to pick up their students at the school's football field.

A point of difference that many miss,, and the media exploits.

Killing has a reason. A motive. Whether crime or justice. There is always a reason.

You can bet that the seemingly pointless Mass Shootings also have a reason. (though may involve conspiracy)

They need to stop covering this stuff 24/7 on TV. The media used to know not to do these things, because it creates copycats.

Gun free zones endanger kids!!! <--- do you mind if I add that to your title so it is tweeted out in proper context, at least?
