This is most likely an assassination. They go in hit and run before anyone has a chance to retaliate and this type of gun violence would not likely be deterred by open carry laws.

I get breaking Fox News alerts in my email whenever there is a shooting anywhere in the country, but they don't seem to report other kinds of violence with the same frequency or sense of urgency..just those with guns. The media does have a bias in reporting gun related deaths in particular, IMO.

They can create any hysteria or outrage they want at any time. One day it's guns, the next it's e-coli in hamburger, the next it's sharks, the next pit bulls.

2 Shot At California School; Suspected Gunman Arrested

At least two people were shot at a California high school this morning, ABC 23 is reporting.
The shooting was reported around 9 a.m. local time and the shooter was reportedly taken into custody about 20 minutes later.

This was in Cali, the strictist gun control state of all. This doesn't speak well of gun control. Someone needs to pull up the stats on the gun crime rates of the states with the most lenient laws and compare them to the state(s) with the strictest laws.

Thanks. Looked it over but this is overall crime and doesn't distinguish gun crimes. It would have to be cross-referenced with stats on states with the most lenient gun laws on up to the most stringent.

It would be great to be able to show that the areas across the country with the most lenient gun laws have the least amount of overall crime as compared to the areas with stringent gun laws and the highest crime rates. Not even sure those stats exist, but since the gun grabbers like to pull out stats, how would they ever be able to argue with that?

Can't wait for the gun blame game, rather then trying to figure out WHY students are shooting up their schools. I suppose that would be too hard for them to do some actual investigation.
