Got any movie recommendations?

These are what I have recorded in my DVR rainy day queue.

Terminator-Salvation
Doomsday
Slum Dog Millionaire
The Big Lebowski
Tron 2
Quantum of Solace

better yet watch the series. As far as the movies go i though borat and bruno were fantastic but Ali G and The Dictator weren't very good.

The Dictator was so bad, I didn't even mention it in my other post. I've watched both the series and the movies and love them both! Sacha Baron Cohen is one of the best comedians that ever walked this earth. :D

Brazil (Terry Gilliam's director's cut - NOT the studio's theatrical release).

I don't really know how to describe the feelings I had after watching that movie lol. On one hand I felt like it was important that I had seen the movie, like I was missing out on something all the time before. At the same time I didn't really want to think about it for a while.

Are there RPF members who actually watch a bunch of Hollywood liberal traitors in front of a camera pretending to be someone that they are not?

No one here cares that a bunch of these socialist traitors were responsible for getting Obama elected and re-elected (they campaigned for Obama and gave him plenty of cash)?

If you must be entertained by a Hollywood celebrity then go watch Drew Carey....the only one I could find who was smart enough to donate to Ron Paul.

I also watch America's Got Talent and am a rabid baseball fan and probably other "sheeple shows". If I tried to base my life around showing my intellectual superiority or absolute philosophical purity than I would go stark raving mad (more so than I already am).

That said, as promised, here are a couple more for the OP to consider:

Grandma's Boy

Tenacious D And The Pick Of Destiny.

Soylent Green

Drunken Angel

Heaven and Earth

The Singing Detective

The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T

Ridicule

Thoroughly Modern Millie

Le Visiteur

Hollywood's been around for 100 years. Most of the movies I like were made by people who were dead before BHO hit the mainland.

Office Space
Joy Luck Club
Shutter Island
Strange Days
Seven (Very dark, FYI)
Nitro Circus: The Movie

(I'm assuming you've already seen some of these. Putting 'em in just in case.)

A really old one that is worth watching or watching again is;

The Devil's Disciple

It's about a black sheep of a family and a preacher getting mistaken for each other at a crucial time during the American Revolution. The preacher does some great fighting and the black sheep does some stupendous preaching.

Recommendation for "Stalag 17" seconded! An awesome and timeless film.

Also, anyone who loved Chief Dan George's character in "The Outlaw Josey Wales" is highly advised to check out the forgotten classic, "Little Big Man". Dan's endearing performance as a Cheyenne chief and adopted grandfather to young Dustin Hoffman is truly unforgettable.
