The next time you hear Mark Levin on the radio, or watch Glenn Beck on TV, or read Erick Erickson, RedState.com on the Internet, you might just ask yourself who is paying for the message? And why is it so stridently anti-Trump?

Don’t fool yourself. They’re doing it for the money.

As the spearhead of the “Dump Trump” movement, the same GOP establishment big-dollar donors and PACS that are pushing House Speaker Paul Ryan as a dark-horse presidential candidate, despite the big-government omnibus-budget deals Ryan reached last year with President Obama, are funding Mark Levin, Erick Erickson, and Glenn Beck, to promote Sen. Ted Cruz.

LOL. So Levin is going to go against Trump in the general election if Trump gets the nomination? Well that would be rich. The only benefit to a Trump win of the nomination (he will definitely lose the general election), in the unlikely event that he does win the nomination is that this might be what finally gets the Libertarian Party over the 5% threshold.

Too bad the LP candidates are idiots though. If only they ran a strong candidate!

I'm surprised it's taken this long for anyone to figure this out. It's about time the media's caught up with what we've suspected all along.

Gary Johnson's not bad. I could see him getting 5% against Trump/Clinton. He might pick up some angry Sanders supporters. I don't know if he'd pick up any angry Cruz supporters but he might.

Thanks LE. And do you know when the money came in for Levin? I've been baffled by Levin's bashing of Trump. I listen to a lot of talk radio and last summer Mark seemed positive towards Trump.

And maybe the big establishment donors are paying someone on this site to incessantly bash Trump as well.

They don't need to. There are plenty of people who oppose Trump for free. Especially when he advocates for a police state, there will definitely be people on a liberty board oppose him for that.

That was quick.

Donald Trump is a 9/11 truther. Also Levin has been a Cruz supporter for sometime. That's also true of Beck and Erickson. The idea that these guys would have to be paid to go against Trump is laughable. Levin is a fink who waited until Rand Paul and Ben Carson were out to start bashing Trump, but his Trump bashing is organic. So ir Ron Paul's Trump bashing. Or do you believe Ron Paul is bought off by establishment donors?

Anyone who:

1) Supported an assault weapons ban in 2000 and didn't change positions until after running for president
2) Lied about "always being against the Iraq war" when in fact he was for it back in 2002
3) Supported the disastrous intervention in Libya
4) Said Hillary Clinton was the "best secretary of state in history" post Benghazi
5) Supports imminent domain for private business
6) Supported TARP and still thinks that was a good idea
7) Supports de-facto amnesty while claiming to be against it

deserves to be bashed.

Especially those who like Hillary, eh?

Did any of you bother to actually READ this article? Why is Roger Stone allowed to write on the Daily Caller? Good grief.

He cites the Conservative Treehouse, the chief Trump propaganda outlet. It's a fraudulent, lying website.

The Senate Conservatives Fund, like similar organizations, buys old books like Levin's in order to spread their message. Levin has nothing to do with the transactions and the royalties are too small to care about. None of this has anything to do with Trump.

David Barton, who leads a pro-Cruz PAC, is friends with Glenn Beck and heads up his charity. What does this prove exactly? That they were friends before and still are? Where is the money transaction?

Erick Erickson didn't get 3 million from anyone! How in the world do you translate a Ricketts family donation of 3 million to Our Principles PAC into 3 million for Erick Erickson?

Stone was smart enough to cite the Conservative Treehouse rag, otherwise he would get sued out of his mind for this libel.
