Getting really pissed off about the media bias.. we HAVE to do something

Common guys we cannot let them get away with this. Either the Paul campaign has to address this or we need to.

He could say something very simple along the lines of 'Why vote for me? Just look at why the media keeps ignoring although I am second nationwide. The answer? Corporatism. All the lobbyists and big government supports control the media, so they just ignore me. Additionaly, look at my track record, I've been in congress for x terms and I never voted for anything that increases our government or is unconstitutional - everyone calls me Dr no. I'm the only real candidate, the rest here are just going to flip flop and war monger to get your votes'. Needs rephrasing but you get my point. By remaining the 'nice guy', we WILL finish last. It's time for Paul to SPEAK UP damnit.. I'm pissed.

Revolution Pac is trying to do something:

I hate to say it, but this shows that america really is filled with sheep. How very sad.
Here's what you're up against:

(Here are some tweets from @ppppolls )

"Republicans trust Fox News (73/17), but nothing else. PBS comes closest at 26/56"

"Democrats trust every source we polled except Fox News (25/61), even Comedy Central (36/32)"

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/01/3rd-annual-tv-news-trust-poll.html

Help people to see the media bias against Ron Paul.

Ron Paul could mention that the media is undercovering his "campaign" (to make it sound less personal) and the "liberty movement". It may not hurt to mention that the public will reject their manipulations in November. Their unethical coverage will impact the Republican party long term as we are the only movement bringing in the youth, the disillusioned, and minority voters. The Tea Party movement started at our rallies...

Rupert Murdoch is Public Enemy Number One money bomb

I like it.

But the main thing is, why can we not expose to all of the Fox viewers how Fox is maneuvering them into trying to nominate the candidate least likely to beat Obama? Just because they like whoever it is, so they refuse to believe that independents don't want anything to do with a psychopathic idiot with enough baggage to keep a FedEx jet from leaving the ground?

Fox spins this little 'dittohead' world they get lost in. Too much fun. But at the end of the day, even Bob Dole knew Bob Dole couldn't win, John McCain was a joke against Obama, and they're about to get fooled again. How stupid do you have to be to think Newt freaking Gingrich will steal the vote of one single person who voted for Obama four years ago--no matter how bitterly backstabbed they feel today? Fox keeps playing them up and pushing them to be self-indulgent and it keeps becoming a smaller club with less and less chance of being even slightly relevant. All the dittoheads are good for today is nominating another McCain to lose the general--and we're about to get to the point where they aren't even strong enough against us to do that. In fact, I think we're already there.

That's what Murdoch's all about, and what Fox has become. And it's deliberate. Just obviously so that even a dittohead should be able to see it by now. Time to rub their noses in it. They're as betrayed as Obama voters. The difference is, most Obama supporters are just smart enough to realize it.

We need to hold rallies outside their studios with signs and speeches pointing out the facts and bias.

"Occupy the Media".

We would need to do it in front of their corporate headquarters or their main broadcasting hub.

Should have been doing this from day one.

CNN is out of Atlanta right?

Fox New York?

Fox New York?

I'm one block away from a Fox station right now. Why wouldn't we Occupy Fox from coast to coast and see if they can black that out?

I know what my sign will be: FOX: HELPING REPUBLICANS PICK THE BIGGEST LOSER SINCE BOB DOLE

You can continously expose their blackout through videos by twittering to the nees hosts names. Don't know if that helps but it might start to irritate them as it is public. If it catches on and thousands do it maybe it could open some peoples minds

boycott,http://www.revolutionpac.com/2012/0...sting-sc-primary-urging-cablenetwork-boycott/ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Northbrook, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2012 - Revolution PAC, backer of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s bid for the Republican nomination, will host a live webcast on Saturday following the South Carolina Primary election. In conjunction with the event, the super committee is calling for a nationwide boycott of cable/network outlets, which have exhibited bias against Rep. Paul in their reporting.“Pew Research just a few months ago confirmed the immense media bias against Dr. Paul,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi. “Despite his electoral success, he consistently receives the least national media coverage of all Republican candidates.”
Case in point, notes Franchi, was CNN’s post-Southern Republican Presidential Debate coverage Thursday, which provided coverage of neither Rep. Paul nor his debate remarks.
“Quite simply, Ron Paul’s supporters are losing their patience and are creating their own media opportunities,” says Franchi. “Revolution PAC is pleased to be able to offer this forum, and we anticipate a lively event on Saturday.”
Election analysis will be provided as the polls close tomorrow by Revolution PAC’s South Carolina correspondents and an in-studio grassroots liberty panel. The public is invited to participate in the webcast from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CST Saturday, January 21 by visiting http://www.RevolutionPAC.com.

Even if we turn off MSM, it's not us its doing damage to it's the undecided voters, and Grinch/Romney supporters who might want an alternative. We're screwed, 4 man-race, and they're blacking him out again, its not looking good, not at all.

Occupy Fox across the nation has merit. Occupy local Fox stations with a message from the people ... respectfully, professionally, yet with intent to expose them for telling lies ... that might make "news" for their competitors.

What about Cavuto and Judge Napolitano, who are part of Fox, but also very fair to Ron Paul? Napolitano's shows have been totally an "elect RP commercial" for ages.

As I recall, the last "Fox lies" thing didn't go very well for the liberty cause.

What do you suggest?

Fox wants Obama reelected. If Fox didn't want Obama reelected it would promote someone who can beat him instead of pushing the five copies of Bob Dole they've been promoting the last year.

this, but maybe we should save this thread for tomorrow. It keeps taking space on the front page when bumped and on primary day maybe we should be bumping threads showing why people should vote for Ron, in case they are doing last minute research before heading to the polls. There are a lot of nonmembers here today.

Or I could move it, if you guys want to keep hashing it out.

Whatever. I've said my piece. If you want to hit Fox where it hurts, with their herd, that's the tack to take. It's obvious, it's true, and Murdoch's campaign contribution history will prove it. QED.

Patriotism, we have to hit patriotism. I don't watch MSM, haven't for years and years... a boycott won't help us, and "occupy anything" associates us with the wrong crowd. Gingrich is an idiot, but he is getting people riled up that he is a true Patriot. This is gut instinct. Let's out-Fox Fox.

Fox: "You say Iran should get a nuke, that this is none of our business..."

Response: "I dare them to use it, because we can wipe out the continent from here with ICBMs. Who needs bases, it just takes time for us to evacuate them? I say let Iran do its own thing, and if they use a nuke first, they will learn a harsh lesson. In the mean time, let's save a ton of cash. Why do you want to waste our money when we can deal with the problem in minutes? "

Fox: "Why should the US be an isolationist? If we close up all these foreign bases, if there is ever a conflict we have to go back out there and open them back up again."

Response: "First, I'm not an isolationist. If we are attacked, I will eliminate the enemy with extreme force. Second, perhaps you are unfamiliar with the concept of a battle fleet, or our bomber capabilities? We can target anywhere in the world in hours, and our submarines can be placed strategically at a fraction of the cost. Why are you against bringing our troops home to defend the US and Mexico border?"

Fox: "You want to legalize drugs."
Response: "No, it's the states call. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with this little thing called the Revolution we fought to get rid of our king? And besides, if people want to OD, that's their choice... are you for social medicine? Are you saying that we should instead put these people into expensive treatment facilities like Obama wants? I"m shocked Fox, I really am, that you are saying you support Obamacare!"

Perhaps none of this is actually a good idea, and I don't think it is wise for Ron to do this himself... but this position might work better for us at the 'roots.
