Every Christian in my state believes that Tebow is the new football playing Jesus. Everyone rallies behind what he says because he had controversy over praying while playing a game. Tebow's endorsement would be huge. Anyone who lives in a southern/bible-belt state should look at how much Christians post about him on facebook, lol.

Man, nothing against Americans.. but I mean, I'm seriously curious about this; how did a country that was founded on individualism turn into a culture that celebrates mindless following to SUCH a high degree? While people here are statists like any other, I never see this sort of idol worship. I'm reallllly freaked out by it.

Check out Chuck's official blog, facebook and twitter. Doesn't look like he's thinking too much about the presidential election right now.

It seems like I saw a couple recent articles on wnd.com from him about the election and they were just really really vague things about electing the guy with the best Christian character, etc. Can't seem to find them now. But I guess there's some serious question about whether he actually writes his political columns or whether his pastor friend ghost writes them.

My impression is that Chuck likes Ron Paul, but isn't about to make a full endorsement because he's more into Christian recononstrucionism than libertarianism. Which is presumably why he liked Huckabee so much.

Why? Who cares? He can throw a football, that doesn't mean he has any clue about politics, freedom, or monetary or foreign policy.

SportsCenter spent literally 25% of its show yesterday on Tebow. One of those "Entertainment Tonight"-type shows had a Tebow story last night. He has what you call a high "Q" score. An endorsement would be a validation of RP's mainstream and evangelical appeal, just as his Iowa-3 and NH-2 were. I think it's worth a percent or two in SC at a minimum.

Oh yeah, and where did Tebow go to college? F-L-O-R-I-D-A.
